Great customer service - We had just finished doing a medical mission in Guatamala and Antigua was our “down day”. We had a group of 12 people, some did the walking tour and others, the Pacaya volcano hike. Elizabeth Bell and particularly, Ismar, was very accommodating and easy to work with during the booking process. I highly recommend Elizabeth Bell and these activities.

Great Experience - We were very excite about this tour from all that we had read; however with all the ash from recent volcano blooms Elizabeth Bell’s voice was gone. She set us up with Monique who was beyond all expectations. We felt lucky to have her guide our tour. She not only guides in Antiqua but also in Guatemala City. Her parents are guides. She give us an exceptional tour and also could answer all our questions about Guatemala schools, natural resources and more. Based on our experience you will have a tour that is outstanding with Monique or Elizabeth Bell.

We couldn't have asked for a better experience. - Elizabeth & her team absolutely nailed our brief and made the day exploring Antigua so special and memorable. We arrived via cruise ship and right from the start the port, the impeccable experience began. Sergio our guide was so knowledgeable, and whilst there were many highlights, eating at a local restaurant was fabulous. I HIGHLY recommend using Elizabeth Bell Tours when visiting Antigua.

A little underwhelming - This tour was OK. The guide was good and knowledgeable to the extend that he knew about where he took us. I did not expect to spend 30% of the time side of places of business (jade museum/ hotel Santo Domingo). I thought we would cover much more ground and see many more things. To that, read tour descriptions carefully and ask for a detailed list of where you will go and how you will spend your time.

Not just an Antigua tour! - Antigua Tours is amazing. They planned as many activities as possible for the days available, creating a tailored tour. Their drivers were always on time, and very courteous. The activities included: Antigua tour, Pacayo volcano tour, lake Atitlan tour (3 days- including Panajachel, Lake Atitlan cruise, and Chichicastenango market day), and 2 day Tikal tour (including flight, Tikal day tour, and Tikal dawn tour). They also go the extra mile. When the Guatemalan government arbitrarily refused to take foreign credit cards for Tikal admission, Antigua Tours paid in cash, and I reimbursed them by credit card. Elizabeth Bell is not merely a travel agent- she is also an expert on Antigua, authoring 7 books on the subject! Antigua Tours had been recommended to me by a friend who is a native Guatemalan, and they totally fulfilled my expectations. Their fees are also quite reasonable for the quality provided.
