Local, local, local food and culture, amazing! - Milton was a wonderful host on our tour, a true local experience with great knowledge about the culture around Antigua. I would highly recommend this experience!

Foodietenango is a 10/10 - BEST TOUR IN ANTIGUA! My partner and I had the absolute best time with Milton getting to learn about and taste all of the delicious street food Guatemala has to offer. He took us to multiple different locations where we were able to eat like a Guatemalan. The Shuco was definitely our favorite food we tried, but they were all absolutely delicious. We have agreed that we must go back to Guatemala just to do a Foodietenango cooking class :) 10/10 would recommend!

A must try in Antigua - We were lucky enough to be the only people signed up for the night so it ended up being a private tour. It was THE BEST time. Milton is so friendly and knowledgeable. His passion for good food and his dedication to supporting small local businesses was felt throughout the entire trip. We were picked up on time and the tour lasted about 2.5 hours. The food was 10/10 and we were stuffed by the end. My partner and I have not stopped talking about the shuco we had at the first stop. This was an amazing way to try the street food around Antigua. I would definitely recommend this tour for anyone visiting the area. Thank you again Milton!

Delicious food in Antigua - My husband and I went on this food tour. Our guide picked us up at our hotel and it was just us so we got a private tour. Our guide drove us to three different towns just outside of Antigua. The tour doesn’t include much walking so if you’re tired after hiking the volcano, you will be ok.
The food was sooo good. Each place had something different. We also learned a little history and culture along the way. At the end of the tour, we asked for recommendations for a bar and were dropped off at a really cool speakeasy. I definitely recommend this tour. He also does cooking classes if that’s more your style.

Fun food tour - Milton was a wonderful guide. He was very knowledgeable about Guatemala, from its history to food. We asked him so many questions and he was happy to share his knowledge with us. He took us to small towns quite near Antigua and we tried local favorites. Fun experience that I would recommend!

A truly authentic food tour - What an incredible experience! Beyond the delicious Guatemalan street food, Milton was an incredibly authentic, well- spoken and interesting guide. Without him, I never would have had the chance to go around to small towns to see how Guatemalan people like to spend their evenings. Milton incorporated a cultural understanding, history, and his personal love for good food into this one-off-a-kind tour. He graciously shared all about his life and answered my many many questions about Guatemala. At the end of the tour, I felt like he was not just my tour guide, but also my friend. Thank you so much, Milton! Keep doing great things.

Authentic tour with passionate guide - Milton was such a great guide for this very intentionally designed tour! If you are looking for a typical, run-of-the-mill food tour where you go to all of the most popular places in Antigua that you could probably find on trip advisor anyway - this tour may not be for you. If you want to get a bit outside of Antigua and eat authentic food where the locals eat it, I couldn’t recommend this tour more!! You can tell Milton is passionate about the history, traditions, people, and food of Guatemala, and when you have a guide with that level of commitment and motivation, it’s no surprise that an incredible experience is to follow. Going on the tour, you can see the thought and consideration put into the selection of restaurants and the great relationships Milton has created with the owners of the restaurants. It’s a great opportunity to get outside of the more touristy area of Antigua and see how beautiful and safe the surrounding communities really are. If you’re on the fence - book it! You won’t regret it!!

A must-do tour while in Antigua! - I absolutely loved this street food tour with Milton! It was such a pleasure getting to know Milton and hear about his life and many passions. The food was so delicious and it was so nice to get to explore the little towns just outside of the tourist area and see family run food vendors. You will not only learn about the food but also so much about Guatemalan history (if that's your interest). I highly recommend this tour for people who appreciate local life and food. Come with a big appetite! You'll be consuming both local food and drinks.
