Casa del Jade, is located inside a Colonial house, called "El Jaulon", a two story yellow building at the corner of 4th street and 3rd avenue. Only 1 block away from the Main Square.

Such a special experience - My boyfriend and I had so much fun at this workshop! It’s 100% a very hands on experience, you do almost every step from start to finish to create the piece that you want. Carmen and Elmer were such wonderful, patient and positive instructors! They are clearly pros and extremely knowledgeable about jade, and they also helped us take photos throughout to make sure we captured these lovely memories. We loved our pieces and haven’t stopped wearing them since. Thank you again Carmenita and Elmer!

Carving your own jade - Carmen and Elmer are very helpful and great at giving instructions on how to carve, shape and smooth the jade. This is a memorable experience and you get a wonderful souvenir that you created yourself

Very good experience - Great experience. The guides are amazing, it all starts with few minutes tour in the Jade museum and then you start the workshop. The guides are super personal and attentive and they help you through the process so you make it safely. Some workshops are saying you do it yourself but in reality they do 99 percents for you. In this workshop you do most of the stuff yourself. Depends on your comfortability they can help you more or less but you can decide and talk to them. They also speak fair enough English so this is no trouble. They are super kind and nice. Eventually you can make simple shaped necklaces bracelets or keychains in different colors of Jade. Highly recommend

Amazing experience - Definitely an amazing time! Carmenita was very helpful and patient. She helped me shape and polish my chosen stone to perfection! Truly a unique experience I bought some of her work also as gifts for family. As well as something from the main shop. Would highly recommend this workshop!

Antigua - She was so sweet! And so helpful! It was so much fun to do and I would definitely recommend to everyone I had long nails and I’m clumsy and it was still doable for me!!

Jade experience - Wow ! What’s an amazing and super fun activity. Carmelita was so knowledgeable of the craft and made this experience extra memorable. We got lesson on jade and got to make an piece for ourselves to take home !
