Casa del Jade, is located inside a Colonial house, called "El Jaulon", a two story yellow building at the corner of 4th street and 3rd avenue. Only 1 block away from the Main Square.

Carve a jade pendant - I did the jade carving workshop and it was so much fun! You get to choose the colour of jade you want and the shape of the stone. Then Cesar helps you cut the stone, shape it and, polish it.
Cesar is an excellent teacher and craftsman! He explains and shows what you need to do and lets you work yourself. But he is there to help and makes sure you leave with a perfect piece!

Incredible Experience!! - I had an incredible time at the Jade carving class with Carmelita. Her expertise and patience made the class enjoyable and accessible, even for beginners like myself. Carmelita's passion for jade carving was infectious, and she provided excellent guidance throughout the process. The hands-on experience was both relaxing and rewarding, and I left with a beautiful piece of carved jade as a memorable keepsake. This class is a must-do for anyone interested in learning a unique and traditional craft. Highly recommended!

Fantastic experience! - What an amazing time I had at Casa del Jade. Carmen was la mejor maestra and I learned so much. Cutting and refining the jade was such a great learning experience and along with plenty of laughs and friendly chats. I love my necklace and highly recommend this activity to anyone interested in learning more about jade and the process of creating beautiful jewelry. Class was approx. 2 hours and I loved every minute of it! Phillip enjoyed his special treatment in class too! Thanks for a great afternoon!

Make your own Jade jewelry. - My wife and 14 yr old grandson took the carve you own jade.
They had a wonderful time. The both made fantastic pieces of jewelry.
The staff were super helpful, assisting as needed.
They also have a very good museum, and a jewelry store.
When in Antigua make sure you stop Casa del Jade.

Mayan treasures - A great tour of a Jade Museum, Jewelry sales, and a jade jewelry making class. The museum covered the history of jade, the types of jade, historical use of jade.
The jewelry store had a beautiful selection of jewelry, from modest to high priced. We never fail to buy beautiful items from Casa Del Jade on our trips to Antigua.
This is the first time that my wife and grandson took the jade jewelry making class. The staff was professional, friendly, and helpful. They will help you as much as you need to create a beautiful keepsake. This was one of the highlights of the trip.

The jade workshop was fantastic - This was a great experience. My wife and I and our two children (6 and 9) did this workshop. Carmencita was a very helpful and friendly instructor. She was patient and kind with our kids and helped them create a piece they could be proud of. Everyone had a great time, and I would recommend it to anyone.

Wedding Anniversary Celebration - We celebrated our 9th Wedding Anniversary with this Tour!! It was a very nice experience! And we kept our souvenir jade piece that Carmencita kindly taught us how to make!! Excellent teacher!! Thank you!!
