Guatemalan market tour and cooking class - Milton and his wife are wonderful hosts and their rooftop kitchen is so beautiful and quaint. The trip to the market was really educational and lovely. We even went to Milton's market restaurant suggestion the next day and had an amazing meal. Milton went above and beyond to teach us so much about Guatemalan culture and food. I highly recommend this tour.

The perfect introduction... - The perfect introduction to Guatemalan tradition and culture. Milton was fantastic . We started with a trip to a local market where we purchased ingredients for a Guatemalan feast which we prepared and ate on Milton’s rooftop kitchen with a beautiful view of the volcanos.

Wonderful gastronomic and cultural experience - This was a fantastic experience. First, Milton walked us through the enormous Antigua market and introduced us to fruits and produce that we had never heard of. Then he took us to his home just outside the city where he has a rooftop cooking school. We ate the exotic fruits we’d bought and learned to prepare traditional Mayan dishes while watching the sunset on nearby volcanos. We had a delicious meal with 3 courses, and Milton emailed the recipes so we can try to replicate them at home. We learned so much about Guatemalan cuisine and culture. We highly recommend this tour.

Great introduction to the local street food scene - This was our second experience with Milton and it did not disappoint. We had to reschedule our initial booking due to illness and he was super accommodating. He carefully selected each of the places we visited and each was incredible. Flavors, variety and everything was delicious and the vendors friendly. It was great to see 3 different pueblos outside of Antigua and to hear a bit about them. We were a group of 6 and it was the perfect size. Milton knows food, is local to the area, has a wealth of knowledge and is a fun guide. Highly recommend!!

Great experience! - The cooking class was amazing. It was great to go to the market and pick out food and explore. It felt special going into their family home and cooking with their family. He really went the extra mile in both explaining local things as well in giving us a PDF of the recipes and cultural meanings of the dishes.
