You’ll get to taste the seeds and savor the flavor of 100% natural chocolate, made in a purely traditional way.
• San Pedro Las Huertas - This charming place features the only functioning public laundry in Guatemala. You’ll see indigenous women washing clothes by hand, some of whom come down from the mountains to use this facility. Next, you’ll visit Mayan gold artisans and learn how to work with jade to create your own piece of jewelry to take home.
• San Antonio Aguas Calientes - A hub of fashion, this place is known for the artisanal production of traditional costumes. Indigenous men and women come here to visit textile artisans who can create huipils, skirts, or sashes to your preferred design. Each piece is handcrafted, making it unique.
• San Miguel Duenas - Known as Valhalla, this area is rich in nature and macadamia trees. During this tour, you’ll learn how to process macadamia seeds to produce oils, creams, chocolates, and other products made from this magical seed.
