Unforgettable Experience!! - Incredible experience with Daniel M as our knowledge tour guide. Very knowledgeable about the history of the volcano, Mayan culture, and the plant life. Also, we had pizza at the top which was delicious. All in all, a truly memorable experience.

Great private tour - I contacted MB Travelling late on 22 May to see if they still have spaces to go to Pacaya the next day. They kindly arranged for a private tour for me at a good price. My guide was Daniel and he was excellent, walking at my pace explaining on the way the lava formations and their impact on the local communities, as well as some of the Mayan culture, various plants and honey for medical purposes. He showed me the bee hive and the particular ants nest, and how plants and honey are part of the Mayan culture for medicinal purposes. We spent time having the pizza and general chats about his culture. Not forgetting the driver, Oscar, who picked me up and returned me to the hotel at the end. It was very enjoyable communicating with him using Google Translate, my limited Spanish and his limited English, and hand gestures! It was a great tour for me at the last minute.

Highly Recommend!!! - Irwin, our tour guide/driver, and Daniel, the volcano tour guide, were amazing! Irwin was very welcoming, friendly, and knowledgeable about the history of Antigua and Guatemala! Daniel, who took us on the actual hike, was very patient and shared some cool facts about the volcano and the area. Although the hike itself was only about 3 miles round trip, it was a bit strenuous due to the very steep incline and about 1000 feet of change in elevation. But the pizza (not included) and roasted marshmallows at the top was so worth it!!! Highly recommend!!!
