- Copan Ruins - The National Park of Copan Ruinas, declared a UNESCO World Heritage site, is an incredible place where you can immerse yourself in the ancient Mayan ruins. The ball court, hieroglyphic stairway, stelae, palaces, and temples are all very well preserved. A local guide will share the rich history with you. Birds are freely flying everywhere.
