This is a luxurious experience. There are three guides: a private cowboy with a horse who speaks English, and a guide who provides detailed information about the volcano. A private lava chef is booked, and guests enjoy chips and salsa during a vibrant picnic. The sunset dinner is served with wine, and there is a tasting of gourmet Guatemalan chocolates to complement the S’mores roasted on lava—all at the base of an active volcano with views of three other volcanoes.
