Rubens: “The Raising of the Cross,” “The Resurrection of Christ,” “The Descent from the Cross,” and “The Assumption of the Virgin.”

Groenplaats - The Town Hall, built in 1561 in the Italo-Renaissance style, is located here. In the center of the square stands the statue of Brabo, who, according to legend, chopped off the giant Antigoon’s hand and threw it into the Scheldt River, giving rise to the name Antwerpen or “hand throwing.” The marvelous 17th-century guild houses are also present.

During the excursion, you’ll have the opportunity to see Victor Horta’s home (only available from 2 pm to 5:30 pm, closed on Mondays) and/or a residence he designed for his friend, Eugène Autrique (open from Wednesday to Sunday, from 12 pm to 6 pm). Additionally, you’ll explore several Art Nouveau neighborhoods, such as sq. Ambiorix, Ixelles Ponds and Ixelles Trinité district.
Following the tour, your guide and driver will convey you back to your hotel or another location in Brussels.
