Best experiences always come from people - It was supposed to be just a ride between some places on our itinerary, or at least I thought so. Then we met Ashan to make final arrangements and his big smile immediately put away any doubts about what this adventure is going to be like. Starting early next morning and then every step of the way he was our reliable driver, knowledgeable guide, friendly advisor and travelling companion. Yes, we are heading to the Sigiriya Lion's Rock, but why not make a short stop to see an elephant bathing in the lake? On our way to Kandy a small detour will take us to the Nalanda Gedige, 1000+ years old temple at the geographical center of Sri Lanka! Nobody in our group is vegetarian, but we happily took Ashan's advice and went to a vegetarian restaurant in Kandy, by that time knowing that it can't go wrong. So, dear Ashan, thank you for everything and hopefully we will meet again on some new trip around Sri Lanka.

Great guide and driver - Ashan was a wonderful guide and driver. We spent 4 days with him from Anuradhapura down to Kandy and he was very helpful throughout, and even checked in on us during the rest of our trip in Sri Lanka. Would recommend!

Recommended! - We are a Belgian family (father and 2 adult children) travelling through Sri Lanka in summer 2023. We got in contact with Ashan through our hotel in Sigiriya (Sigiri Asna Nature Resort, also recommended) that organised airport pick-up. Ashan also drove us around in Sigiriya and brought us to Kandy. Thanks to Ashan, our drive to Kandy became an interesting day trip by including stops in Dambulla fruit and vegetable market (little known but definitely worth the visit), Dambulla cave temple, Nalanda Gedige (the geographic centre of Sri Lanka) and, upon our request, a spice garden (which was more of a tourist shop so not worth it) I can only be very positive about Ashan as a safe driver, a knowledgeable guide and a pleasant person. We especially appreciated his sense of humor, his flexibility for our ad hoc requests and his contribution to defining the most interesting stops leaving final decisions in our hands.

5 days Sri Lanka Tour - Ashan was a very special tour guide. We were so happy that he accompanied us on our journey. He was reliable and always had a plan B if plan A did not work as expected. Even when my trip ended differently than planned, I could count on Ashan's support, even when he was no longer our guide. Amazing friendly driver, highly reccommended - We were lucky enough to find Ashan on arrival at the Anuradhapura train station. He drove us to our hotel and offerred to give us a tour of all the sights in town the next day. After he even drove us to Trincomalee, Sigiriya and Kandy over the next week. Very friendly and good conversation. Saw a lot of great things we otherwise would have missed out on. Really went above and beyond for our best experience!

1-day tour to Anuradhapura - Ashan (the driver) was very nice and kind throughout my visit to Anuradhapura (1 day). He took me to all touristic places to visit and explained me the meaning of each monument and religion. Even when I asked him one thing which he didn't know, he searched for it and told me later. I definetely recommend Ashan for a tour in Anuradhapura and to other cities in Sri Lanka, since he was an air-con and confortable van.
