Nuwara Eliya to Ella (By Train via Scenic Views)
Nine Arches Bridge - Walk or take a tuk-tuk to this iconic stone bridge surrounded by lush greenery. Known as the “Bridge in the Sky,” it offers a stunning photo opportunity, especially when a train crosses. From Nuwara Eliya to Ella, luggage will be transported separately while travelers enjoy the train ride to Ella, where they will be picked up. The driver will be at the Ella station before the train arrives. Note that train tickets can only be booked one month in advance, and closer to the travel date, they may cost slightly more. Arrangements will be made to ensure a magical train ride with scenic views.
Little Adam’s Peak View Point - This shorter and easier hike offers incredible views without the challenge of Ella Rock. The trail is well-maintained and family-friendly.
Ravana’s Cave - Explore Ravana Cave, a site rich in legend and connected to the Ramayana. Nearby, visit Ravana Temple to learn about its mythical significance.
Ella Rock - For a rewarding adventure, hike up Ella Rock for panoramic views of the surrounding valleys and hills. It’s a moderately challenging hike that takes about 2–3 hours round-trip.
Ella to Yala
Buduruwagala Temple - Visit this ancient rock temple, located about 30 minutes from Ella. Buduruwagala means “stone images of Buddha,” and the site features a 51-foot-tall Buddha statue, one of the tallest in Sri Lanka, carved into a cliff.
Rawana Falls - Stop by this scenic waterfall on the outskirts of Ella. The falls are especially impressive during the rainy season. Enjoy the view or take a dip in the pool at the base.
Yala National Park - Yala is renowned for its leopard population and is one of the best places to observe these elusive big cats in the wild. Opt for a guided morning or evening safari in a 4x4 jeep, as these times increase the chances of wildlife sightings. Besides leopards, Yala is home to elephants, sloth bears, water buffalo, spotted deer, wild boar, crocodiles, and a variety of birds. Wildlife sightings may vary depending on the time of year and the area of the park.
Yala to Mirissa
Weligama Beach - Weligama is famous for its stilt fishermen, who balance on poles to catch fish. Visitors can watch them in action or take photos (a small fee is usually charged for photos). Weligama offers several surf spots suitable for beginners and intermediate surfers, with rental options and surf lessons available along the beach.

Galle Dutch Fort - Galle Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is a historic fort built by the Portuguese and later expanded by the Dutch. Stroll its cobbled streets, visit boutiques, and admire the colonial architecture.
Sea Turtle Farm and Hatchery - Habaraduwa - This area is known for turtle conservation efforts, with several hatcheries dedicated to protecting endangered sea turtles. Visitors can see different species of turtles, learn about their conservation, and even help release baby turtles into the sea if available.
Jungle Beach - A small, secluded beach near the Japanese Peace Pagoda in Unawatuna, just a few kilometers from Galle Fort. It offers calm waters ideal for snorkeling, lush greenery, and a peaceful setting.

- This is a customizable tour. You can go ahead with your own itinerary. The allocated mileage for 11 days is 1300 kms which is more than enough. If you wish to use more mileage there wil be an additonal charge of USD 0.33 for each additional km.
