The sequence of the places we visit may differ from the description and the time we stop at each place during the tour is approximate and includes travel time.

Additional Information

Frequently featured on souvenir cards showcasing its golden sands, serene bays, and majestic karst peaks, the Phi Phi archipelago stands out as one of the top tourist hotspots in Thailand.
Delight in the toes-in-the-sand vibe and the lush scenery of the Phi Phi isles situated in the Andaman Sea with our evening escapade that culminates with a sunset spectacle. Dive into the embracing company of vivid marine life at sites like Loh Samah and Monkey Bay and explore the underwater tapestries of coral reefs.

NOTE 1:
The journey commences and concludes at Koh Phi Phi (Tonsai). It is NOT initiated from Ao Nang (Krabi) or Phuket. Tour-goers must arrange their passage to Koh Phi Phi independently and are required to spend a minimum of 1 night on the isle.

NOTE 2:
This excursion places its focus on aquatic activities and sightseeing around Koh Phi Phi, rather than on narrative-guided exploration.

THE GROUP WILL BE LIMITED TO A CAPACITY OF 10 INDIVIDUALS.

  • National Park fee of THB 400 per person has to be paid cash on day of the tour
  • Maximum number of participants per group is 10 persons.
  • As per government decision, Maya Bay will be closed for a couple of months every year, so that the area can undergo a period of natural rehabilitation. All the other places in the itinerary will still be accessible during this time, so more time will be spend here for swimming and snorkeling.
  • Regarding the stop at Monkey Bay: You must always remember that, no matter what, monkeys are wild animals, not pets. Even though they may look cute, especially the young ones, we always recommend to keep your distance, not bring any food with you and keep all your belongings in your bag. You don’t need to come close as it’s just as fun to watch the monkeys from a distance.
  • This tour does NOT start from Ao Nang (Krabi) or Phuket. If you want to join this tour from Ao Nang (Krabi) or Phuket you have to arrange transport to Koh Phi Phi by yourself. Because of the ferry schedule you have to stay overnight at Koh Phi Phi for at least one night when coming from Ao Nang (Krabi) or Phuket.
  • This tour is really about swimming, snorkeling and visiting beautiful spots around Koh Phi Phi, not about story-telling. No guide on this tour, only a local boat driver.

Fantastic boat trip - Highly recommended trip! You see all the important spots and are taken snorkeling on impressive reefs (we even saw reef sharks!) The guide was very nice and made sure we felt very comfortable. Our personal highlight on Ko Phi Phi!!!

Must do excursion when you are on Koh Phi Phi - An absolutely beautiful tour that is highly recommended. We were lucky and were the only ones who had booked this tour at that time and were alone on the longtail boat. It is recommended to book the earliest tour, as there is potentially less going on in the individual bays. The boat driver was very friendly and took us to Maya Bay first, as it gets much busier there later. Maya Bay is absolutely gorgeous. When we were there, however, it was closed for swimming and snorkeling, which is why we could only take photos. However, that was announced, so it was not a problem for us. But there is hardly a more beautiful photo spot. Afterwards we were able to snorkel at two very beautiful spots and watch the monkeys in Monkey Bay. We would book the tour again 😊

Beautiful - We booked an 8 am trip and ended up being the only ones on the tour! The spots were beautiful - no monkeys which didn’t surprise me given the time of day. Our tour guide gave us lots of water and even gave us some pineapple. Yes there was a language barrier, but we were able to figure out what we were doing and there were no issues - it’s also Thailand! I don’t speak Thai, it was a great tour

Great, great experience - Excellent experience. Captain was on time, navigated safely. Helped with any requests, and was very informative. The experiences says “ no snacks provided” but the captain provided us with water and pineapple by the middle of the trip. This experience is very good value, and I can’t stress enough how good it went!

A great day out! - We got lucky with this one! Read lots of reviews about how you can occasionally end up with a small group and we weren’t expecting this to be the case in the busy month of Feb, however we were really lucky as it was just us and 2 other people! Other reviews are fairly accurate.. tour guide speaks no English whatsoever but was experienced and lovely and took us to all the best spots. We unfortunately couldn’t go to Maya Bay as it was extremely busy for the boat to park up. The guide made a very good attempt and, instead, took us to a little beach which was almost empty and so beautiful. If you want a nice little day out, you’re on a bit of a budget and willing to take the risk on group size (there is no way they’d fit 30 anyway), then I’d highly recommend!

One of the best excursions in Thailand - This was one of, if not, the best excursion that my partner and I experienced in our 2 week Thailand itinerary. For anyone wondering about logistics, we took the 9:00 ferry from Phuket, and arrived on the island with enough time to check in to our hotel, drop off our bags, and get lunch before the 13:30 tour. I would recommend eating before or bringing snacks on the tour, because there’s only water and fruit on the boat, and you’ll need a lot of fuel for all the activities. Our tour guide was a pro at navigating the long tail boat and told us the name of each stop (don’t expect more than that- this is not an educational tour). Make sure you remember the name and # of your boat, so the pier workers at Maya can call your guide when you come back from the beach. Highlights of the tour were swimming in the lagoon, spotting a sea turtle while snorkeling, and watching the sunset at the end of the tour. Don’t forget sun protection and 400 baht fee per person for Maya bay.

Beware choppy seas - Lovely tour. Super affordable, which is reflected in the size of the boat and English speaking skills of the captain. It ticks all the boxes, but while everyone else on the tour was unfazed, if you’re a bit of a pussy cat like me, you’ll fork out for a tour on a bigger boat. Travelling between the two islands on a simple long boat was terrifying for me, but again, that was just me. And while lovely, accommodating and clearly a skilful seaman, the captain could speak a lick of English so we didn’t always know what we were supposed to do, or which stop we were at when he’d drop anchor. And my last small gripe is that I was sent an email saying the meet up point was at McDonald’s, but the live Tripadvisor point still said another establishment so my partner and I were darting between the two for a good half hour, worried we’d missed the tour. Again, a lovely tour and certainly worth the very affordable price.
