Busy boat trip. - A great packed day of activity. Meeting point busy but provider found us amongst the crowd. Swim and snorkeling was good; only point to consider is it was tricky getting up the steps back onto boat.. I’m 58 & consider myself agile but struggled & much younger people did too…. Obviously Maya Bay was very busy but the tour worked well being dropped off then walking to the beach. Activities well timed throughout the trip.

Nice! - A really good tour. Got to see monkeys. Some snorkeling spots where the guide helped to point out the best spots to see sharks. At the end of the trip the guide asked of we wanted to see the bioluminescent plankton so we stopped for a quick snorkeling after the sun had set. A cool extra for an already good tour.

Beautiful island spoilt by tourists - This was lovely as you got to see the beautiful islands. But everything was rushed- no information about the places visited from the tour guides. Was sad to see how commercialised & over populated by tourists the damage is doing to these beautiful islands. If you are going to visit Phi Phi pay a bit more either stay on the island or have your own visit tour.

Very Little Actual Snorkeling - Very little actual snorkeling, only a little over an hour on the half day afternoon trip. Very disorganized tour, had to wait a long time in the heat/sun to load the boat. It was never really a “small group,” as there were several other boats with “small groups” at the same stops. Highlight was the plankton at night.

Tour guide ignored me for 20 minutes while checking others in - Weirdly, the tour guide just ignored me and kept taking other guests. Other guests also kept butting in front of me in the line. It’s an issue with my personality that I don’t stand up for myself enough. I’m working on it. At a certain point, the guide stood up and said that all who had checked in should follow him. That was literally everyone standing there but me. I hadn’t been checked in yet. He had ignored me. When he came back, he started checking in more people. Of course, none of them were me. At one point, I made a comment and he either didn’t hear or didn’t understand. Others in the line did. I had been trying to check into my tour for 20 minutes, ignored the entire time. He reached out his hand and asked for the people next to me’s ticket. They didn’t give it to him. Instead, they just looked over at me. He motioned his empty hand again. I slid my phone with its ticket into his hand. He handed the phone back to me, and took the ticket from the next guest. I walked to the back of the line. I have no idea what the issue was. When I had finally checked in, I was placed in the 10:30 group and not the 10:00 group.

Get what you pay for in budget tour. - An example of you get what you pay for. This is the budget option and didn’t suit us. 18 people crammed into one long boat. Yes we got to tick off the main tourist spots but could see nothing from the boat until it stopped somewhere, and a day is a long time to be looking at peoples backs and low tarpaulin. Maya beach stop was the best part - this is when you get to go via the national park to the beach itself. Just ignore the annoying instagram photo takers and enjoy the natural beauty of the place. Worth doing if on a budget but if you can afford it get a private option. If you go with this try to get a seat up the front so you can see out.

Dissatisfied, rushed, not worth it. - Don’t do it. Waited 45 minutes on the pier before tour started. Guides chain smoked the entire trip, some might not mind this but we did and it spoiled the experience. Guides were rude (accounting for language and cultural differences, guides communicated by shouting and ordering). Everything was rushed. Food was a jam sandwich, orange cordial drink and rice with cabbage, onion and two bits of carrot. For just a little more (ironically our private tour the next day cost the same) you could hire a private boat and have a much better experience. I regret going on this tour immensely.
