Travel Riohacha / Cabo de la Vela

Salinas de Manaure - We arrive at the most important marine salinas of Colombia where you will know how the main activity of this municipality of La Guajira is carried out

Uribia - You will visit what is known as the indigenous capital of Colombia, here a technical stop is made and then continue to the semi-desert of La Guajira.

Cabo de La Vela - After lunch, accommodation at the tourist inn, here you will appreciate its quiet beaches and after rest we will venture out to see the tourist places.

Pilon de Azucar - Sacred Hill for the Wayuu ethnic group, called Kami’ichii, on the side you will find its beautiful beaches.
We do not swim on these beaches because in the afternoon there are strong waves.

Playa Arcoiris - It is a place of landscaping and photography, with good weather, highlighting as its name indicates, it forms small rainbows. I invite you to place a stone and make your wish.

Playa Ojo De Agua - First we visit Los Cabitos, a place where you can walk, also called Turtle Beach. After enjoying the scenery and its beaches, we recommend what time to leave to go to the lighthouse to appreciate the sunset in La Guajira.

Cabo de La Vela - In the evening after sunset, Guajiro offers a Wayuu talk about the uses, customs and traditions of the Wayuu ethnic group.

Cabo de La Vela - Enjoy the beaches of Cabo de La Vela or the beaches of Mayapo.
When you arrive in the city of Riohacha you will have a typical dinner or snack of purple corn arepa with cheese (arepa de La Guajira).

On this tour you will discover the magic of Cabo de La Vela, also called Jerripa. During the day you will visit its beaches and tourist sites, and at night you will have a talk to learn about the customs and traditions of the Wayuu ethnic group with the community itself, doing painting activities, teaching how to dance the yonna, and tasting beer and artisanal liquor. The next day you have the day off to enjoy the beaches. When you arrive in the city of Riohacha you will have a typical dinner of the traditional arepa from La Guajira called Chichiguare.
