History in a beautiful mansion at Christmas time - The mansion built in the late 1800's was specially decorated for Christmas. The tour guide was extremely knowledgeable about the history of the home and people who lived there. Excellent 2 hours spent!!!

Awesome historic home to tour! - We loved our tour! Our docent, David, was a delight — knowledgeable and friendly. We couldn’t have asked for better. The house was decorated for Christmas and was absolutely beautiful!

Best Historical Site to visit - Seeing a building in pristine condition, especially the woodwork. Also, to visit a building that was 30 years a head of its time with indoor plumbing and the whole house use of electricity The docents are an amazing wealth of knowledge. I learned so much. PS - to hear an original Edison tubular phonograph was amazing. You don't hear that in Greenfield Village, Michigan.

Just wonderful! - The tour of Hearthstone was one of the best I have been on. The house is so beautiful and the Rogers who built it were so ahead of the times , walk in closets and bath off the master bedroom, and not to forget the electrification . Judi ,our tour guide was so very knowledgeable . The colors in the house are so beautiful, I want to try a couple in our historic old house as well. No wallpaper was ever used in this house. Don't miss it, it was fantastic!

Hearthstone Victorian Splendor - It's a great place to visit. I've visited many Victorian homes across the States. This is one of the best-preserved homes I've seen, and I've seen a lot of them. I've visited Hearthstone twice in the last year alone.

A special visit to Historic Hearthstone House Museum in Appleton, WI - Due to Packer traffic delays, my brother and his wife were late arriving for the tour in Appleton, Wi. Nia and other staff member were waiting for us, and we got a special tour between other tours. As we have a family heirloom donated to the collection, it meant even more to us. We were so grateful for this special visit. Thanks so much!

NOT HAPPY - So..made reservations online for 3pm Friday Nov 29th. Received confirmation email. Got there 30 minutes early,as instructed. Upon arrival, there was no one there. Waited a while. In the meantime, checked again online for info regarding confirmation. After going through website further found out it was closed for the holiday! Would've been nice to have that info as the first thing you'd see! Also, why would a reservation go through if you're closed? NOT HAPPY
