Beautiful Introduction to Jordon - Mustafa is the owner operator and I can’t say enough great things about him and his staff. The experience was brilliant and good for the soul. We snorkeled near a local beach which is part of the Red Sea. The colorful fish and other sea creatures were plentiful but what made it special for me was collecting trash while we took in the beauty of the ocean’s creatures. Although my son and I are pretty good swimmers, they nonetheless stayed close in case we needed any assistance with our goggles etc etc. After our snorkeling, my son continued to play on the beach collecting shells and finding a myriad of sea creatures like a long legged starfish while I chatted with Mustafa about Jordon and other activities. We ate a delicious fish on the beach followed by a nice tea before heading back to the hotel. A truly brilliant experience.

Lovely morning during Ramadan in the Aqaba coral - My girlfriend and I were picked up at our hotel promptly at 8:30am by Mustafa and his companion Awad - they were both courteous and very engaging. It was in the heat of Ramadan, but they were happy to offer ice cold water and were very accommodating of our different skills levels for snorkelling. The night before we were amused to see that even though we're in our 40's, we qualify as 'seniors' - and the form requires at least 1 adult to be present for old folks like us. So my girlfriend for the first time in her life lied about her age - it didn't matter. Just made us chuckle. The lads took us in a nice a/c car out to the reefs about 10kms north of the Saudi border and laid out a mat on the beach for us to leave our stuff before guiding us into beach no 4 on the Aqaba coast. This is the 'Japanese Garden' and whilst a little choppy due to the wind, the visibility in the azure blue sea is very good and the lads are very attentive to your needs in the water. In fact, you feel a little like you're a rock star as they use their go-pro to capture you in the best light underwater. There are several snaps they took where a middle-aged fat bloke like me looks less of a whale than he's ever been - so full marks to them for that. The coral is clean, there are plenty of fish, and the experience is very much to be encouraged for anyone in the region. If you're an independent strong swimmer, you'll be fine on your own, but if you're someone who is hesitant in the water, who is time poor for organising a trip, or who would like to have your own underwater paparazzi, then I recommend this experience. This is a new business that Mustafa has set up with a series of other arms around getting to know local life in its various forms (trekking, cooking, local crafts etc) so full marks to him for being entrepreneurial, and both he and his companion were wonderfully charming and delicate hosts. I have nothing but praise for his endeavour and the experience today. Just be aware - the sea is a little brisk in May despite it being 40 degrees outside - fatten yourself up before you venture in.

An excellent morning snorkelling in the Red Sea - Mustafa and Sam met my husband and myself to take us snorkelling in the Red Sea. The sea was as beautiful and clear as the Caribbean Sea we went to in February. They were both friendly and answered any questions we had about Jordanian life and culture. I have a particular interest in Arabic music and we sang some Arabic songs on the way to the beach and they forwarded me links of Jordanian and Moroccan music on my return as well as photos of us snorkelling in the sea, the coral, the fish and photos of the lovely fish barbecue lunch we had on the beach. It will always be a memorable experience having them both as snorkelling guides, chefs and informative guides of their culture. The view of the pinkish colour mountains meeting the Red Sea was certainly unusual, magical and mystical and will remain in my memory for a long time.

Fantastic experience with a great barbecued fish lunch. - My wife and I were met by Mustafa and Sam and taken in their car to the beach. There they set up a base and we were taken into the sea. Snorkelling equipment was available even though we had our own, and the water along the stretch of coast used is extremely clear. After a while Mustafa left us to prepare the lunch of fish barbecued with herbs, potatoes cooked in the fire and a salad of tomatoes and herbs, along with fresh bread. The experience was second to none, and I cannot recommend Mustafa highly enough for his communications beforehand and the care with which we were looked after.
