Special view and colors - We did the activity in mid-December and it was raining the entire day. Yet, the trail was nice and the lagoon color and view was worth taking the walk in the rain and mud.

Beautiful hike - Well organised, relatively easy hike with beautiful views. You will walk through mud, so hiking boots are a must. A hiking pole is helpful on the way down, but if you are an experienced hiker with good balance, you probably won't need it on the way up.

Great trekking - Fantastic experience. But it is exhausting for those who are not used to trekking. Very kind and attentive guide. Lunch provided by the company is also great. Beautiful way. I highly recommend.

Exercise Gorgeous Scenery Fresh Air and Mud - An unforgettable experience from start to finish. The trek to Emerald Lagoon delivers stunning scenery at every turn—towering mountains, hanging glaciers, glacier-fed rivers, and vast stretches of unique peat bogs. Be prepared for plenty of mud along the way, but it only adds to the adventure! One of the highlights was learning about the landscape, wildlife, and local history from our fantastic guide, Lihue, whose stories brought the entire region to life. Reaching the lagoon itself was absolutely worth the effort: a peaceful, emerald-green oasis surrounded by dramatic peaks. I enjoyed a relaxing lunch by the water, soaking in the serenity and incredible views. A must-do hike in Ushuaia for nature lovers and anyone looking for a memorable outdoor adventure. Highly recommended!

Excellent guide. ... - Excellent guide. Be prepared for a lot of mud,, boggy sections, roots and very slippery rocks, even on a “dry” day.

That day it rained... - That day it had rained the day before and the ground was extremely muddy. So it was quite an experience to do this walk of several hours in the mud (with totally waterproof shoes rented for very little at Cumbre in Ushuaia)! I enjoyed being outdoors and being able to be guided, however the guide gave us no explanation about flora and fauna, which is a shame.
