A trip of a lifetime! - There is a reason why South land Ethiopia Tours is rated so high. This was such a great tour. A trip of a lifetime, that I will never forget. We did the 3 day tour with Andu and his crew. The price was very reasonable in US dollars. Everyday we were picked up and driven to a location. Andu was very knowledgeable about the area, including medicinal plant and birds, which are two things I love. The area is so rich with history, lush plants and lots of sunshine. First day, we went to Lake Chambo for a sunset cruise to see crocodiles and hippos. It was surprising to see so many other birds! Eagles, storks and herons all showed up to say hello. Second day, we hiked through the Nech Sar National Forrest. We had an armed guard who was our guide and Andu was in the back making sure we all made it. We saw many kinds of baboons and monkeys. We didn’t make it all the way to the Gods bridge because it got too hot, but 10 miles later we got to dip in the springs. Third day, we went to the Dorze tribe, which was such a great way to end the tour. Afterwards, we got some Nile Perch! Then we were dropped off at the airport. Ethiopia is such a beautiful and magnificent country to visit in Africa. I am so glad we chose to visit Arba Minch. If you visit, make sure to use a knowledgeable tour company like Southland Ethiopia Tours.

Andualem - Here it is: “I’m just a door in Ethiopia — carved from old wood, warmed by the highland sun. I’ve seen mountains breathe clouds, heard coffee ceremonies whisper history, and watched centuries pass barefoot across the floor. Still… when you walk through me, even the land pauses like, ‘Yeah. That one belongs here.

MAKE SURE to book with Andualem for an Amzing trip! - What an amazing trip! Our guide Andualem, truly went above and beyond to ensure we had an excellent experience. If you visit southern Ethiopia, MAKE SURE to book with Andualem! As a local born and raised in the area, Andualem was extremely knowledgeable about the local, culture, history, and wildlife, for a truly authentic experience. His passion for his craft and genuine personality made us feel right at home. Having visited other regions in Ethiopia in the past, Arba Minch has been my favorite thus far! During our quick 2 day trip we were able to enjoy many different activities including hiking to the 40 springs in Nech Sar National Park, animal viewing on Lake Chamo, visiting with Dorzee village, etc. Andualem picked us up from the airport with a big 4x4 for safe traveling on off roads. Our trip was thoroughly planned out stopping for refreshments and dining at local restaurants along the way(including fresh Nile Perch). He was eager to answer any questions in English(for me) and Amharic(for my dad). His expertise, attention to detail, and welcoming personality made for a safe and unforgettable trip! I can’t say enough good things about our trip/guide and would PROUDLY recommend Andualem to all family and friends! Hope to see you again soon ! You’re friends, Luel and Kaleb

The best guide - On a tour of Africa, I was able to meet tribal people and experience traditional life and culture. The observation of crocodiles was also powerful and I felt the power of nature. The guides explained everything carefully and it was a safe and enjoyable experience. It's a fascinating tour of wild and cultural coexistence.

Outstanding experience with Andualem - If you are planning a trip to Arbaminch, Ethiopia you should definitely book your trip with Andualem. He is very knowledgeable with the local history, the unique cultures of the various people and the wildlife in the national park. A detailed knowledge about the wild life, identifying the names and medicinal use of the plants and animals. The insights are deep and authentic making the difference between just seeing the park and truly understanding. The whole trip was very organized, from boat trip on the lake to the visit in the Dorze village. We highly recommend Andualem for this adventure

Two day visit, but Impressive - Two Day visit(short), but Impressive I with my family, had a great time in Arba-Minch_the land of natural beauty. It was our first visit. We all are highly exited about the nature of the place_the city, the lakes around the city, Nech Sar National Park, The Dorze Peoples' historical and cultural heritages, The forty water springs in a dark forest and others. We stayed short, but it was vey effective and impressive due to the capability of our tour guide Mr. Andualem. He is young with social and emotional intelligent in addition to his tour guide's knowledge, communication skills, punctuality and overall his experience. We thank you so much for all your efforts with your team. Hope to see you again in the near future by including our other families and friends. ....Chaw chaw....

A trip worth a while - The vibrant energy of this place is infectious. Everywhere you look, there's something new and exciting to discover. The sights are breathtaking, like something out of a dream. And the food, oh the food, it's an explosion of flavors. It's the kind of place that stays with you long after you leave. Every corner turned reveals a hidden gem, waiting to be explored. It's a true feast for the senses, a journey for the soul. This is the kind of experience everyone deserves.
