Short break in Arbaminch - I spent couple of days in Arbaminch, and Debaba, the tour guide, made those two days unforgettable through the proper arrangement and relaxing setups. I really enjoyed everything in that trip.

The tour felt like a friend was taking you around his hometown! - I took a private tour with Debe and it was great! The tour felt like you were traveling with a longtime friend. Debe has a great sense of humour and is always happy to integrate you into local life. He knows many of the tribe members as personally, which makes experience authentic. He can give you not just factual information, but also interesting details on more intimate aspects of local life.

Highly recommend - We spent 7 days with Debebe and his driver friend exploring Omo Valley. We got presented with an initial schedule, which we adjusted on the go with new requirements we discovered we wanted during the tour - Debebe re-planned accordingly but made sure we touch the highlights: Hamer village ceremonies, Mursi. It is clear he has been a guide for a long time based on his attention to details and sensitivity to the clients’ needs. Compared to a guide from Addis it's a huge difference: Debebe is literally friends with tons of people from the towns and villages we've spent time, and that creates a very familiar atmosphere, also all the wishes are easily accounted for. Needless to say he knows all the objectives and details of the area. He is a native of one of the tribes - Daasanach- so his knowledge and understanding of the indigenous people is a lot greater than a regular guide. My personal highlight was the camping in one of his friends yard in the Hamer village - traditional house, traditional people that cooked a very special dinner for us. And also we got the chance of attending not only the main part of the Hamer ceremony, but also preparation and aftermath the day after, all with the families from the tribe. Overall - very memorable trip with plenty of amazing experiences each day and good food everywhere. We traveled during the time of Covid and the turmoil in the North but that didn’t affect our trip at all - quite the opposite - there were not too many tourists and we felt safe and comfortable the whole time. Highly recommended doing this trip with Debebe!

The best tour you can get! - I had an amazing experience when visiting Omo Valley with Deb as a tour guide. You can see he has a lot of knowledge and is connected to tribes. In each tribe, he arranged local contact/guide, who explained tribe customs in detail, so we could feel even closer to each tribe. Deb arranged whole trip in the most comfortable way, even with wi-fi in the car. I had a sick day during the trip and Deb really took care of everything (pharmacy, hotel, water, food ...). Would recommend him 100%.
