Arba Minch - In the morning, drive to Arba Minch, stopping along the way to visit the Doreze village, known for their weaving skills, particularly in making Shammas. Their houses are shaped like elephants, a nod to the animals that once roamed the area. The staple food for these people is Enset, also known as “false banana.” Overnight stay in Arba Minch.
Arba Minch TO JINKA
Jinka - Drive from Arba Minch through Konso to Jinka.
After breakfast, take a boat cruise on Lake Chamo, the third largest lake in Ethiopia. On the lake, you might spot Nile crocodiles, hippos, and various bird species. Continue to the Bana village, home to indigenous pastoral and semi-nomadic people of the lower Omo Valley. The men often style their hair with colorful clay caps adorned with feathers. Visit the Ari people, the largest group in the lower Omo Valley, where the women wear skirts made from Enset and are skilled in pottery. Overnight stay in Jinka.
JINKA TO MAGO NP MURSI TRIBES THEN TURMI
Mago National Park - Take a day trip to Mago National Park to visit the Mursi village. The Mursi are one of Ethiopia’s most unique ethnic groups, living in low huts made of straw leaves. The women wear terra cotta on their significantly stretched lower lips and ear lobes. Return to Jinka for lunch, then proceed to Turmi, home of the Hamer people. Overnight stay in Turmi.
TURMI TO KARO TRIBES THEN HAMMER TRIBES
Turmi - Drive to Murulle to visit the Karo people, renowned for their elaborate body decorations. They paint their bodies and faces with white chalk for ceremonies. The women scar their chests as a mark of beauty, while the men’s scars signify enemies or dangerous animals they have killed. Overnight stay in Turmi.

KONSO TO Arba Minch
Konso - Visit and continue southwards to Jinka, passing through the Konso village, a UNESCO World Heritage site known for its terracing. This village also produces some of the best coffee in the country. Continue to Welayta Sodo.
WELAYTA SODO DRIVE TO TIYA STLEE THEN ADDIS AND DEPARTURE
Tiya - After breakfast, begin the journey to Addis Ababa, stopping in Butajira and visiting the UNESCO World Heritage site of Tiya. Arrive in Addis Ababa in the early evening. Attend a folkloric dinner featuring various national dishes and traditional dances from Ethiopia’s diverse ethnic groups. A traditional coffee ceremony will also be held. Later, transfer to the airport for departure.
