Highlights
  • Cala Goloritze - Brief stop to admire Cala Goloritzè, a protected paradise to admire the splendid local marine life, its arch and its pinnacle, a natural monument of Sardinia.

  • Cala Luna - One of the wonders of the Gulf of Orosei and Baunei and of the entire Mediterranean, chosen as the set for a cult of Italian cinema. Cala Luna is an inlet carved between the cliffs with a dazzling 800-metre ‘strip’ of very fine golden sand in the center that plunges into the clear blue-toned sea. Its backdrop, shallow in the first few meters, quickly becomes deep, appreciated by snorkelling, diving and underwater fishing enthusiasts. The cove with Polynesian features rises at the mouth of the Rio Illune, a stream that for millennia has dug a long canyon, the codula di Luna. The water flows along the gorge for kilometers and feeds a small lake behind the beach, surrounded by a grove of oleanders and Mediterranean scrub.

  • Cala Mariolu - Admire Cala Mariolu, swim, snorkel to admire the splendid local marine life, coffee break at the small kiosk. Possibility of scuba diving and snorkeling

  • Grotta del Fico - Among the most popular caves of Sardinia, last monks seals refuge, the veranda on the blue of the Gulf of Orosei, hidden among the most beautiful coves of the Mediterranean for the location, the speleological characteristics and for the exciting visits!

  • Cala Sisine - A corner of uncontaminated paradise, a pearl not only of Ogliastra but of the whole island: the glow produced by the sun’s rays on the surface of the water contributes to giving the place a unique enchantment that attracts visitors from all over the world.

  • Cala dei Gabbiani - Still little known, overshadowed by the fame of nearby Cala Mariolu, it has the same characteristics: crystalline water tinged with green and blue, cliffs smoothed by time and a beach of pebbles. Swim, snorkel to admire the splendid local marine life.

  • Arbatax - Il tragitto per andare a tornare da Arbatax a Cala Luna è due ore circa.

Best day of our holiday - Really well organised team on the boat. Spoke all the languages. Very punctual. Loved how we were able to swim by the boat (lifeguard on watch) while some of the guests went into the cave. The locations we saw were sensational! The fish so tame. Something for everyone. Worth every penny!

What a great day with Helios - A perfect organization, places visited with stops for water bathing and coves above the Caribbean islands! A very organized team quality ottima.partinda from aperitif to lunch to finish with Savoyard coffee and myrtle.Per resume from watermelon to myrtle. A day like this is worth living, do not miss this opportunity. But know that the credit for this day belongs to Helios, hard to think of finding better. Grazie ragazzi!

Professional, efficient, friendly - This boat and its crew were extremely efficient at loading and unloading everyone. Staff was very friendly and I felt that it was a very professionally run boating service. The captain really seemed like he knew what he was doing maneuvering around and also observing boating etiquette. There was assistance getting on and off the boat every time, though it was quite easy, just a ramp you could walk on and off to the beach.

A disappointment - The service of "falcon of the queen" (Bella Rimini) is not among the best considering other companies that make the same route. Meanwhile, understanding what was the landing was not easy, there is 'a clear indication on the site, the phone number has no Response or is often called back after hours. That said, other critical issues must be highlighted: Overcrowded ship, even the umbrella is charged (and it seems to me that it is not specified before buying the ticket), no explanation on the individual coves, the onboard megaphone does not hear well. Separate speech should be made on the coves. Until a few years ago this destination was a paradise. Now the overcrowding in the summer is such that on the small beaches you are crowded, in the water often there are so many people that it is difficult to find a space to swim; a few meters from the shore is full of dinghies and boats that are a real desolation for the view as well as polluting the area. These areas do not benefit, they are not made for mass tourism and we are destroying them.
