Olympia Tour - Andreas was our favorite guide during our 10 day cruise. Great tour and experience in Olympia, highly recommend it!

Wow wow wow! Stathis is the greatest!!!! - The experience we had with this tour was the highlight of our trip!!! Stathis treated us like old friends. His knowledge, passion and enthusiasm for his family and his country made for a very special experience. He recommended less crowded family owned places to visit. I felt like we got to see an authentic side of Olympia, not the tourist side. We even had homemade cake from his wife!! It was an incredible experience.

Fantastic Tour Experience - Our tour with Nancy (guide) and Petrolous (driver) was absolutely fantastic. If I could give it 10+ stars I would do so. They were at the port awaiting us, with a very comfortable tour van. We had an elderly limited mobility individual with a scooter and the scooter fit perfectly in the back of the van. Petrolous was very kind in assisting with lifting into the van each time we got in and out. Nancy provided a wonderful commentary of the area as we drove from the port of Katakolo to Olympia. She then guided us to the entrance of ancient Olympia site and museum. From there we were provided sufficient time to explore the site and museum. We then went to a local honey farm, where Nancy continued with us and provided additional context into the area and site. We were then able to spend time walking through the city shops and have lunch. We asked Nancy to join us and were able to continue learning much about the Greek culture and lifestyle of the area from her. There are not enough kind words to describe our experience with them both. I highly recommend this tour and requesting them as your drive and guide of possible. We hope to one day return and visit this area again.

Excellent tour - Our guide Dora was wonderful to us! She was able to answer all our questions, as well as being flexible to our needs.

Fantastic. FANTASTIC!! - Fantastic. FANTASTIC! Stathis was a friendly, helpful, flexible driver for our day in Katakolon and Olympia. He provided great history and insights into the area and was happy to adjust our itinerary for the day to meet our needs. The car was clean and nice and was very comfortable for our day of driving. I highly recommend!

Olympia - It was excellent experience with Tina& driver. They were waiting at port for us. Very professional & knowledgeable of history of Olympia. Kept us informed & we’re very helpful with my family member that unexpectedly had a broken foot& walker. They were great!

A VIP feeling - What a day! If you have only a quick one-day cruise ship stop, I can't recommend this enough -- particularly if you can arrange to ride with Stathis. He catered the trip around our wishes. He gave us options then let us choose. We ran over on time and he said not to worry. We wanted to see Olympia, of course, but after that did a little shopping, tried some olive oil and wine and had a lovely drive around the countryside. Along the way, Stathis was very interesting. We asked a lot of questions about what we were seeing, the Greek economy, farming and how people live. We learned a lot from Stathis. Most important, we felt like VIPs. There were buses and buses full of people. Stathis drove us right to the front wherever we went, helped us avoid lines and always assured us to take our time and see what we wanted to see. I felt bad for the people on the buses because this private tour was better and cheaper. If you're on a cruise, skip the cruise-sponsored shore excursion and do this.

Excellent guide! - Panos was friendly and knowledgeable. We absolutely loved the honey farm. We had extra time and he took us to a Monastery that was great!

Great day in Olympia with Stathis! - Stathis was a great guide! He picked us up from the port and gave us great commentary about Olympia and the sites on our drive. He got us to the Sanctuary of Olympia before any of the cruise ship passengers and told us the best paths to take for seeing the most out of our time. We never felt rushed! After, we made our way to a local honey farm, where we met an amazing family who gave us a great demonstration and we purchased their products. Cheaper than the US! Finally we ended our day at a local hotel overlooking the beach. He made menu suggestions and ordered for us to ensure we were served properly. He was a great guy and we had a fabulous day, thanks to him. Hope your son had a fabulous birthday too!!

"It was a chauffeur... - "It was a chauffeur service, and the guide did not accompany us despite being in the bus. We entered Olympia and the museum on our own. Since it was called the Olympia Half-Day Tour, we expected to have a guide with us."
