Kiruna - Embark on an exciting journey suitable for all, where we immerse ourselves in the natural and cultural wonders of the area.\nDiscover the vibrancy of our arctic woods, teeming with creatures of all sizes!\nWe’ll track wildlife and discuss their survival strategies in the arctic seasons.\nJoin us for a playful romp in the snow as we venture through the icy woodlands together.\n\nInformation:\nActivity level - Easy\nDuration - 2.5 hours\nDistance - Approximately 2 to 2.5 kilometers\nIncluded in the Activity - Snowshoes, Warm local berry beverage, headlamp (when necessary), and an expert local guide.\n\nTransportation is provided from three locations in Kiruna:\nCamp Ripan (10 minutes before the activity begins),\nTourist Information (5 minutes before the activity begins), and Hotel Scandic (at the start time).\nNotes:\nWe do not supply extra garments.\nPlease dress appropriately for the weather and the excursion.\nMinimum participant age is 12 years.\nMaximum number of participants is 8 people.

Excellent experience and very informative. - Anders was an excellent guide through the Forest, his knowledge of both nature and wildlife was fascinating. He could point out all the different animal tracks in the snow and speculate on their behaviour too. Likewise, his knowledge of the natural environment we were in was equally fascinating on the tree plantation, the undergrowth and indeed Kiruna itself. I came away not only enjoying the snowshoe walk (which was not arduous) itself but also so much more informed.

Perfect trip - A relaxed hike in the best weather through a wonderful winter forest! The guide (Anders) was absolutely perfect and shared his enormous knowledge of nature and Kiruna with us! Friendly, cheerful and competent. It was an absolute highlight of my trip - and it was fantastic. I can only recommend Anders!!!

A must do!! - Great activity, everything was perfect!! Anders is very friendly, he explains how the forest lives during the cold, the hike is very easy and does not require a particular level of fitness! The place is just magical. Little extra for the fika break! I highly recommend this experience

Amazing relaxing snowshoeing tour - Anders was a fun a knowledgeable guide. He told us many interesting facts about the culture and animals in Swedish Lapland. He offered us some very tasty homemade traditional lingonberry juice and cookies, to make the break very enjoyable. The sunny day made the experience even more pleasant. The snowshoeing walk in the forest was very easy and relaxing, no particular skill was required, and Anders helped us with the snowshoeing equipment, we really enjoyed the scenery and spotting the wild animal tracks in the forest. There were only us 2 on the tour that day, and Anders kindly offered to drop us off at the Kiruna new center where we wanted to visit after the tour. Overall this was an amazing experience and we highly recommend this tour.

Superb moment in the forest - We were lucky enough to be alone with our guide today for this snowshoe hike. He shared his knowledge and passion for Nature and local wildlife with obvious pleasure. We had the opportunity to chat over warm berry juice and carefully concocted cookies. An unforgettable moment which confirmed our crush on this region. Thanks to him 🙏🏻 Don’t hesitate for a single moment! ❄️🇸🇪🌲

Brilliant! - We had the most amazing morning snowshoeing through the winter forest with our outstanding guide, who was full of great stories and information about the forest, the wildlife and about life in Kiruna. He was informative, entertaining and a fantastic guide. The warm juice and traditional biscuits served around a fire was perfect in such a magical setting.
