PUNO – CHIVAY – LA CALERA (HOT SPRINGS)

Arequipa - At 6 a.m., a local guide will pick you up from your hotel in Puno to transfer you to the transport and commence the tour to the Colca Valley.

Along the way, there will be brief stops: Lagunillas for observing Andean birds, flamingos, Andean geese, and seagulls, and Patahuasi for a technical stop by SSHH.

The next stop is the Aguada Blanca National Reserve, where you can see and photograph llamas, alpacas, and vicuñas.

The journey continues to Patapampa, also known as the Mirador de los Volcanes, situated at 4910 meters above sea level.

From this vantage point, you can view significant snow-capped mountains, including Misti and other volcanoes.

La Calera Thermal Waters - Upon arrival in Chivay, you will be welcomed and accommodated at the hotel, with free time for lunch.

In the afternoon at 3:00 p.m., you will visit the hot springs of La Calera, where the thermal baths or pools contain thermo-medicinal water exceeding 40°C.

Return to the hotel.

CHIVAY – YANQUE- CRUZ DEL CONDOR – COLCA CANYON

Mirador Cruz del Condor - After breakfast at your hotel, at 06:00 a.m., you will be picked up to start the excursion to the Colca Canyon, the Cruz del Cóndor, and witness the flight of the condors.

During the itinerary, you will visit the traditional and ancestral towns of Yanque, the church dedicated to the Virgin of the Immaculate Conception, and see local crafts and the representative dance of Colca Wititi.

Colca Canyon - At 08:10 a.m., you will arrive at the Colca Canyon for a guided tour of approximately 1 hour.

Puno - Afterwards, you will return to Chivay, passing through Maca to visit the Santa Ana church, which is decorated with altarpieces adorned with gold leaf. You will arrive in Chivay for lunch and then continue the journey to Arequipa (or Puno).

For the return, you have 2 options, choose the one that suits you best!
