Patahuasi - The journey begins with a pick-up from hotels in the city center, heading towards the breathtaking Colca Valley. The route skirts the slopes of the “Chachani volcano” and leads to the “Salinas and Aguada Blanca” national reserve, where South American camelids like vicuñas, llamas, and alpacas can be seen. A stop in Patahuasi offers the chance to enjoy hot drinks such as muña and chachacoma (mate Inca) to help prevent altitude sickness.
Salinas y Aguada Blanca National Reserve - The next destination is “Tocrapampa,” where natural wetlands and sightings of high Andean and migratory birds can be enjoyed.
Abra Patapampa - Stops will also be made at the “Volcano Lookout” (Patapampa) at 4910 meters above sea level, offering views of the “volcanic mountain ranges” and marking the highest point in the Colca Valley.
Chivay - The descent leads to the village of Chivay for lunch, with buffet options (not included), a la carte, or menu, featuring novoandino dishes.
Hot Springs Chacapi - The journey continues to the Chacapi Hot Springs in Yanque, where thermal medicinal pools with waters above 35°C can be enjoyed. Various activities are available, such as horseback riding, exploring Colca trails on ATVs, or experiencing the thrill of ziplining (activities not included). After nearly 2 hours, the return to Chivay for hotel accommodation takes place.
Chivay - In the evening, dinner (not included) is optional at a tourist restaurant, where traditional Colca dances are performed, providing an opportunity to mingle with other visitors to the Canyon.
Chivay – Condor Cross - Puno
Yanque - In the morning, after breakfast, the journey continues to the Condor Cross viewpoint. Passing through Yanque, the church and square are visited.
Mirador Cruz del Condor - The magical valley is traversed, passing through stunning landscapes and traditional villages, arriving at 8:10 am at the Cross of the Condor viewpoint. Here, the majestic flight of the condors, large Andean birds nearing extinction and symbols of the Andean Mountains and culture, can be witnessed. The viewpoint offers a full view of the Colca canyon, one of the world’s deepest at 4160 meters.
Mirador Antahuilque - On the return journey, stops are made at the Wayrapunku, Antahuilque, and Choquetico viewpoints for photographic hiking.
Maca - The town of Maca, which still preserves its colonial “Santa Ana” church, is visited, where the “Colca Sour” can be tasted.

En route to Puno, the high Andean region’s views can be enjoyed again, with a short visit to the “Cordillera Volcánica” viewpoint. Drinks or snacks can be enjoyed in “Patahuasi,” and the final stop is in “Lagunillas,” a sector of Puno, to observe and photograph South American birds and camelids.
