Truly memorable experience - We had a great afternoon and evening with Diana and Patricio. Patricio’s passion for Peruvian cuisine shines through and Diana is a warm and welcoming host who looked after us brilliantly - and showed much understanding when we had to rearrange our class at short notice. We really enjoyed our experience and getting to know the flavours and tastes of Peru. Thank you!

Great Experience, Great People - Fantastic time with Diana and Patricio. Between the walking tour to the local market, and the step by step breakdown of all the ingredients and traditions, this was one of the best ways to learn about the food and cultural significance around it! Very much would recommend! Diana and Patricio are lovely people as well!

Must do experience! - This was such an intimate experience. We got to customize our dinner, as one of us is vegetarian. We could really feel the passion both Diana and Patricio have for cooking and showing people the culture. This was an amazing experience that we recommend for sure. They were both so kind and this was the best thing we did in Arequipa.

A great way to get to know the real Arequipa - Every part of the experience was fun, informative and well managed. The trip to the local market shows you some local traditions and foods that only come from Arequipa not just Peru which is really cool and shows how different Arequipa is to the rest of the country. The staff were great. It was clear that Patricio has a true passion for food of his country. Overall, a great experience!

What an experience! - What an experience! Diana & Patricio are the most warm, welcoming and fun people and their cooking class was our absolute favourite experience in Arequipa. We felt extremely well taken care of and their hospitality/ generosity goes beyond boarder. Diana welcomed us warmly before showing us around the Altiplano Market and introducing us to various local food products. This wonderful evening continued in their beautiful garden, where Patricio took over. He guided us through the Peruvian cuisine with such a passion and learned us to prepare two typical (and delicious) Peruvian dishes. We can just highly recommend this class to anyone who wants to have a great time diving into the Peruvian food culture.

A night of fire and Pisco - It is impossible to overrate this Peruvian cooking experience. Diana is a warm and engaging host, with deep knowledge of ingredients, the local food market scene and an excellent command of English. Chef Patricio is a man of passion: for his roots, his terroir, the ingredients he cooks with, and for sharing his knowledge with his guests. Our trip to the local market was fun. Diana engaged with many of the shopkeepers and we had little tastes of a range of items. The potato market was amazing: what variety! We cooked two local favorites: Causa and lomo saltada/pollo do saltada. But before cooking began, Patricio taught us to understand the provenance and the flavor of the raw ingredients. This was very educational - not in a pedantic sense because Patricio is very witty - and also a real eye-opener. I learned so much. We were then taught some basic cooking techniques and how to prepare the first course. Patricio demonstrated every step. It was a great success! The second course went the same, tho there was an awful lot of fire involved - much to everyone’s amazement and delight. Finally a wonderful, light desert made with black corn and apples. A delicious way to round of a flavourful meal. And, to finish the most delicious Pisco sour I have ever had. And made in a most unique way. Once again Patricio demonstrated the technique and explained the reasons why the sour had the texture that it did. An excellent end to an already great evening These are lovely people with a real passion for what they do. I high recommend their Peruvian cooking course.

Great time in Arequipa - Diana and Patricio are both really nice people wanting to share peruvian cooking culture. The visit of the market was really interesting, and the dishes we cooked amazing, with lots of explication about peruvian products. We especially loved cooking the vegetarian version of lomo saltado, and Diana took some great photos and videos of us flambéing the dishes. We totally recommend !!
