The road is rough, and I... - The road is rough, and I was the only English speaker, but our bilingual guide Patricia was stellar, and made sure I understood everything. Wild vicuñas, rabbits w/tails, llamas, flamingos, Andean geese. Gorgeous scenery. Not an easy 8 hours. But very worthwhile.

Day of llamas, alpacas and high Andean birds, magnificent!!! - A trip that you cannot miss on your way through Arequipa, you can see many alpacas and llamas in addition to high Andean birds, the explanations of the guide were also very complete, I recommend to do the tour with this agency.

Lagoon of Salinas, a charming place, lots of nature, a place where you find peace and tranquility - I loved the salt flat because I could have breakfast surrounded by vicuñas and camelids, the view of the lagoon is great the mirror effect I loved, I am marveled and the explanations of the guide were the most precise, I recommend to do the tour with this tour company

Laguna de Salinas - In Arequipa, I had the option to do the Colca Valley, but I thought it would be very tiring. I decided to make this walk shorter, so I regretted it. The company was punctual and the route to the salines was very pleasant. The place is very nice and quiet. Opportunity to see some animals of the region, walk, contemplate nature and take good photos.

I recommend the experience - The lake is a place that abounds silence and peace, I loved being there. Friendly guides stop if they see animals, so they can take pictures. Kind to have your photos taken and to be okay. There are 4 or more stops: viewpoint, first stop lagoon, breakfast (there you pay 15 soles cash), the hot pools (I recommend swimming, near the lake). You arrive in Arequipa at 13:30 to the center. There's time for everything. Sure, it's not all day. Get up in the early morning pars take advantage of the good weather from morning until noon and take advantage of the afternoon

Stunning views - The site impresses its own and strangers, you can see many species of birds and mammals. However the tour is so rushed that you don't have time to enjoy the site. I recommend carrying lots of water, sunscreen and a good coat. If you have to choose between going to the salt flat and the Colca Canyon, choose the Colca Canyon tour with this same company.

Bumpy and uncomfortable ride, but the end destination was worth it with the flamingo and alpacas. - We went on the tour with the tour guide in a Toyota Land Cruiser. It travelled faster than the mini-bus, as the tour guide said. But the road was extremely bumpy and dusty. Coupled with sudden rise to high altitude, several in my party got car-sick and altitude sickness when we got to the Salinas. The animals and wildlife at the Salinas were wonderful, coupled with the beautiful background of Mt Misti.

Transportation to reserve but not a guided tour - Lamas were the most memorable part of this tour, and ability to feed them. However, the tour was disorganized so the car driver had to be our tour guide. All in all, It seemed like this tour is not really a GUIDED TOUR, but only transportation to the reserve. It lacked explanations, stories etc….
