This short trek on the slopes of Misti Volcano is available daily. While the uphill trek is not technically challenging, it is demanding due to the altitude. The success of reaching the highest point within the maximum time of 3 hours depends on the physical condition of each participant. This trek is best undertaken in the afternoon to enjoy the sunset over Arequipa, but only during the dry season (April to December). During the rainy season, it is advisable to attempt the trek in the morning.
