Couldn't Imagine a Better Class - One of the best experiences we had in Zakynthos (only 2nd to the blue caves). We attended the Greek Dinner Party (Tuesdays) and it was phenomenal. I had my 70 year old father as well as my 9 & 11 yr old children and we all had a blast. My daughter is lactose intolerant but the team went above and beyond to accommodate her. Will attend another class on our next trip to Zakynthos.

An unforgettable experience just to experience! - A totally fantastic experience! If you are interested in cooking and want some Zakyntherian history and culture into your holiday, this is one of the experiences you should have home in your suitcase. We were a small group of eight people and we were all well received by Alex, his mother and his wife. It was Alex and his mother who led the course and what educational skills and what stories and stories Alex could tell about both Zakynthos and Greece in general. It was one of the coolest experiences we have tried. We also receive a cookbook with all the recipes from today’s course, but also from the other two that have been held this week. It's really a service! If we could give 10 🌟, we would have done it!

A fantastic experience! - We had the most wonderful time this morning on with Alex and his mum. Aside from cooking and eating some beautiful Greek food, we also learned so much about Greek history and the island of zakynthos. It was a really lovely way to spend a few hours, and our teenage twins enjoyed it just as much as we did. Highly recommend!

Everything you want in a cooking class - We did this class in Aug 2023 but never got round to writing a review. In short it was fantastic and one of the highlights of our trip. The hosts (family run business) were very welcoming, offered a full range of drinks, and were diligent in the service they gave. We made souvlaki with chicken, halloumi and chips, making all the ingredients ourselves, including the tzatziki. There was a good balance between cooking and listening to anecdotes about Greek history and culture. The class was held outdoors but under shade.

History, food and fun - This is an amazing experience. Alex is part culinary master and part historian. The food was excellent and the participation was fun and not too cumbersome, This is a must do in Zakynthos!

Great cooking course of classic Greek dishes in a family atmosphere - We attended the cooking course "Journay into a greek cuisine" in August 2024 and were very enthusiastic. The course is perfectly organized - even in the preparation of the course. We had registered at short notice - nevertheless, it was no problem to get a vegetarian and mushroom-free alternative to the classic stiffafo. We were warmly welcomed by Taru with a delicious lemonade and quickly got to know Alex, Mandy and the other course participants in the relaxed atmosphere. Afterwards, we got down to cooking. Not only did we get to know the delicious recipes, but we were also able to pick up lots of cooking tips for everyday life and interesting information about Greece, the island of Zakhynthos, the town of Argassi and the food used. We thought it was great that we were able to try out a lot of the recipes ourselves. - like rolling dolmadakia. We were also impressed by how well organized the course was: there were never any waiting breaks between work steps, as the next step was already being prepared in the background. The finished meal tasted excellent and the wines served with it were also wonderful. For us, it was a great culinary experience that we will certainly look back and are already looking forward to cooking the dishes we learned at home.
