• Villa Troubetzkoy - We sail past Villa Troubetzkoy, built in 1800 by Russian prince Alexandre Troubetzkoy.

• Villa Cademartori - We sail past Villa Cademartori. In 1842, Giorgio Mylius, a merchant and banker of German origin, acquired this building from Artaria, one of the most renowned publishers of the time. The villa had been a traditional family holiday destination for some time.

• The Spa at Mandarin Oriental, Lago di Como - We sail past the villa built on the site of opera singer Giuditta Pasta’s home, where composers like Gaetano Donizetti, Gioacchino Rossini (who completed his “Anna Bolena” here), and Vincenzo Bellini (who wrote “La Sonnambula” and “Norma” here) stayed. It is now a famous hotel.

• Torno - We sail past the ancient village, Villa Pliniana, Villa Plinianina, and Villa Taverne.

• Villa Pliniana - We sail past Villa Pliniana, which hosted many famous people and was the setting for one of Lake Como’s most romantic love stories. We will share all the details during the tour.

• Nesso - We sail past the ravine with its bridge and waterfall.

• Orrido di Nesso - Orrido di Nesso is a narrow natural canyon with a 200-meter (650 feet) high waterfall and a stone bridge near the lake. It is now a world-famous, breathtaking site.

• Isola Comacina - We sail near the island, the bell tower of Ossuccio, and Villa Balbiano.

• Villa del Balbiano - Complesso Architettonico di Ossuccio (ante 1778) - We sail past Villa Balbiano, a stunning example of 17th-century architecture and the set of Ridley Scott’s film “House of Gucci” starring Lady Gaga.

• Lenno - We sail past Punta di Balbianello, Villa Balbianello, and Villa Cassinella.

• Villa Le Fontanelle - We sail past Villa Le Fontanelle, the former home of Gianni Versace and his family. Built in the first half of the 19th century in neoclassical style by the eccentric Englishman Lord Charles Currie, who fell in love with Lake Como and decided to build his own villa on the water’s edge. It was later owned by Antonio Besana, a friend of composer Giuseppe Verdi.

• Villa del Balbianello - We sail past the stunning Villa Balbianello, known for its appearances in major films like “Star Wars” and “007.” It is one of the most beautiful villas on the lake, and we will stay on the water to capture amazing photos of it.

• Laglio - We sail past Villa Oleandra in Laglio, famous as George Clooney’s house in Como, where he often spends his summer holidays.

• Cernobbio - We sail past Villa Pizzo, Villa D’Este, and Villa Erba.

• Villa Erba - Villa Erba in Cernobbio was the filming location for “Ocean’s Twelve.”

• Villa Olmo - We sail past Villa Olmo, built in the 18th century and one of the main symbols of the city of Como. It is one of the most famous and luxurious historic homes in Como, reflecting the custom of noble families of the time to own a suburban residence. It is surrounded by a large Italian garden and is part of the coastal path that has connected the villas overlooking the lake from Borgovico to Villa d’Este in Cernobbio since the 19th century.
