Amazing views - Both tours were wonderful. The guide Junior on the Argentina side was fabulous. He was very accommodating and so informative. The same goes for Macca, our guide on the Brazil side. Well worth visiting both sides.

Visit to both sides iguazu falls with manual wheelchir - My husband (76) can walk only a few steps so I pushed him in his manual wheelchair to both sides of the falls. Tours were $350 per person for 2 days--after reading the forum, decided to use a taxi. We took a taxi from the airport offered with the set price of 15000 to town to drop off luggage, then realized the falls were closer than the town, so had the taxi driver take us to the falls, where he facilitated my husband's free entrance (Argentinean law). I should have also been free as his companion but we did not have a certificate of handicappedness, so 2 for 1. The top circuit is closed. Pushed him around the superior circuit, mostly a grated path, ok for WC, not too much up and down. Views were ok--from the top looking down on different falls. Near the end a Brazilian man offered to push him--it was hot, I was tired--and he pushed him the rest of the way. After lunch, set off for the inferior circuit. Lots of vague signage and going up and down looking for the path-- the kind of thing one would not notice were one not pushing a WC in 90-degree heat-- before finally realizing the trail began down a VERY steep hill which I knew I could never push him back up, so he waited for me in the shaded lunch area. The inferior circuit was an almost flat grated path with better views than the superior. A golf cart for the truly handicapped would have made it accessible. Paid 35000, ie $30, for transport from the airport to the park, storing luggage in taxi trunk, and then transport to town. seemed ok, so didn't bargain. Next day our driver picked us up at 8:30--our choice, he suggested 730--took us to the Brazilian side across 2 borders, waited for us 2 1/2 hours, then took us back across borders to a gas station where we were picked up for another trip. Cost 45000. Did not bargain. Handicapped's only advantage, at least with a taxi: is going to the front of the line. On the Brazilian side, we took the bus- into the park. I got off at the path and my husband took it to the end. The walk to the falls was in the shade of the hill and very pleasant with nice views. Had stairs so impractical with chair. No real signs but at the elevator, you are near the bus stop. I found my husband and walked back up to the building then DOWN to the elevator. I advise taking the downhill shadier path into the elevator building to avoid a steepish hot path, which I did not know til I did the opposite as NO SPECIFIC SIGNS.. But--HOW GREAT!-they have a panoramic elevator to get close to the falls, which otherwise would be inaccessible. I pushed him to the last platform beside the falls, There was a lower grated path directly in front of the fall, EXTREMELY crowded, think Times Square on Saturday night. I could have probably taken him there but he declined. We returned on the non-panoramic elevator and walked (Up through the sun) to the bus stop. My only regret is that I later discovered an 8 km hiking trail starting at the visitor center on Argentinian Falls. I would have loved to walk on it, but as my husband had already had to wait for me, sadly impractical. Cost for 2 days: taxi 80000--about $ 68, plus entrance fees The experience was truly priceless

Two day Iguazu Fall tour - The arrangements made by Lucia Rubio were prompt and professional. The taxi and airline booking were done well. Having traveled from California, we had to prompt the taxis and agent the day before to verify the appointment to feel comfortable. But they were prompt and courteous. The tour guide was good and knowledgeable. We covered amazing views from Argentina's and Brazil’s sides of the Iguazu Falls, including a helicopter tour. The weather also cooperated to make our trip comfortable and enjoyable. Overall, the trip was excellent.

Incredible tour, incredible sights, incredible guides - Paharo (Brazil) was an amazing guide. Appreciated his vast knowledge of the falls but most importantly his positive energy. He showed true character when he stopped the group to help an elderly lady down the steps. He was always a willing photographer when offering to take pics. The beauty and power of the falls is one not to be missed. Fredrico (Argentina) was an amazing guide taking his time to walk the trails and let us take pictures and be in awe of the falls. The Argentina side is a longer walking tour but it’s slow and easy. Saw Toucans and a monkey which was pretty cool. The boat ride (additional cost) is a must but keep in mind there are a lot of steps to get down to the boat. As a Canadian we chose the end of October which was great as weather was not too hot but definitely hit enough. Highly recommend!!

Poetry - For a matter of time we only went to the Argentine side, but we were thrilled with the visit. A natural spectacle that leaves you breathless and three different circular routes that can be followed to admire the castates from multiple angles. I recommend you go there with the public bus which you take from the bus station; it is very cheap and allows you to be independent. No difficulty in finding it at the bus station, the staff will give you directions. We didn't do the dinghy tour because we were doubtful about the experience, but seeing it from above it seemed very nice to me. But I leave the evaluation to those who have lived the experience.

Poor customer care - The falls are so spectacular it’s almost impossible to visit without coming away glowing with satisfaction and wonder. However, this organized tour was not as well executed as it should have been, and makes me question why Tripadvisor has waded into this market at all. The tour minibus arrived virtually on time (revised the day before, but with no communication beforehand, despite repeated requests for information), and the transit to the Argentinian side was rapid and seamless in both directions – a strong selling point, given that the wait in a private car or taxi for the border formalities is 1-2 hours. Although indicated clearly in the rubric sent with the conformation, the entrance fee to the national parks is not included. Why? Having to line up to pay the entrance ticket was an inconvenience that almost ruined my day. When I got to the front of the queue, the agent said my credit card was not accepted by their system, and I had to pay in cash. But obviously, in a 2 week stay in Brazil, I was carrying no Argentinian currency, and Brazilian or US dollars were not accepted. The agent advised me to use a cash machine nearby, which eventually succeeded (on the third try), even though the park entrance fee was at the exact limit for cash withdrawals. Moreover, I was surcharged by about 12% vis-a-vis the official exchange rate. The whole episode looked to me like a scam. And my credit card worked perfectly well when I used it later to buy lunch in the park restaurant. By the time I returned from finally purchasing my entrance ticket, to meet the tour guide at the pre-arranged spot, she had already departed with the group, leaving me behind! She then did not answer my calls or text messages, leaving me on my own to wander through the trails of the national park. On balance, deeply unprofessional behaviour. When I finally met up with the group on one of the trails by chance, she was unapologetic and alleged that it was my fault because I had not noticed her waving to me when I was desperately trying to figure out how to use the cash machine. She also claimed she could not respond to my calls or texts because her phone subscription was limited to connections with Argentinian numbers only – obviously quite unacceptable for an internationally advertised tour operator marketed by Tripadvisor. Inside the park, the trails and views were wonderful, but the guide provided rather little real information beyond what was obvious or could be read in a half page description. The second day of the tour, on the Brazilian side, turned out to really be only a half day, and I skipped it entirely, feeling unwell with a cold, and because the weather forecast was for continuous heavy rain: not a great combination. I planned instead to visit the bird park separately, the next day. On balance, a mix of good and bad organization, and unparalleled natural wonders that even shoddy tour arrangements can’t detract from. But Tripadvisor should go back to being what is originally was – a social media site for travellers to share honest opinions, not a marketing tool for less-than-top class outlets to ensnare the unwary.

Not recommended for this - The tour company RipioTurismo accepted this booking wasn't well organised. It's more like a 3rd party agent who sells the customer to other local tour agent. Day 1 and Day 2 are from the different agency. The local agent texted to purchased in advanced in both side of the fall, however this step wasn't needed and it costed trouble the the tourist for take the fixed timing to enter the park in the Brazilian side. Recommend NOT to do this 2 days tour. Should get a day tour instead which you Will not be confused by 2 different agencies.
