- Vessels at Lake Melissani are 12-man rowboats with rower. Passengers may experience crowds while boarding the boats during the high Season of July & August
- The boat ride, spanning approximately 10-15 minutes, includes entry to the cave, the duration of which depends on the number of visitors in the queue.
- Visitors to Drogarati Cave must negotiate approximately 150 steep steps carved out of cave rock.
- Recommended Dress:Smart, Casual, Comfortable footwear.
- Visitors are not permitted to swim in the Lake, in order to preserve the natural environment and protect the site
- Please have available the necessary identification documents (EU Passengers-ID, International Passengers-Passport)

Special atmosphere in both hells - Two very different stalactite hells both are special.
In one you are even driven through by boat .
The second is a huge hell with great lighting. The combination ticket costs 13€ per person and that's fine

Must see experience - Beautiful inside caves, you'll never forget the visit. Boat ride was beautiful, very short but very beautiful. Just be aware it's over 100 steps going down and def not shorter going up. 😊

First class service - Excellent day. We were thrown a slight curve ball. We arrived during the first rain storm since May. Our guide, Maria M, was amazing. She even went as far as standing in the rain to hold our entire buses place in line for a 45 minute wait at one of the stops so we all could wait inside. Perfect afternoon. Thank you.

Average, but friendly - Not that special, if you dont have a rental car, and are staying on the other side of the Island near Argostoli this is a better option than a taxi. If you do have a car available..go there by car and buy the tickets yourself. The beach is a viewpoint meaning you will not be anywhere near the beach.

Not worthwhile - Really overpriced.
You queue for an hour or more just for a 5 minute boat trip.
Sure, it can look spectacular if it weren’t crowded but just look at the faces of the people coming out afterwards and you’ll see how they look as if they’ve been ripped off.
Honestly, this is just not worthwhile.
