Highly Recommend - This was a great experience with a friendly and knowledgeable guide. Our tour bus had a flat tire and the tour company was able to provide a new bus in time to avoid issues with our return time to the ship. I highly recommend!

Highlights of Kefalonia - We did the Highlights of Kefalonia tour with tastes of local delights. Maria M was our guide and she was absolutely fantastic! Maria was articulate, knowledgeable, and very welcoming. She shared her love of Kefalonia and truly brought us into her culture. We booked this tour as an excursion of our cruise; and the rate we had here was less than the excursion price of the cruise line. The tour itself was so enjoyable from beginning to end. The Melissani Lake tour was brief (15-20 min) but so worth the beauty you will enjoy .... the turquoise blue of the water is so breathtaking! The stop in the small village with wine/olive oil/honey tasting of the local area was a great treat. We made some fabulous purchases .. taste the Kumquat honey!! We highly recommend this visit/experience.

Just as promised - sites are OK, but tour guide Sandra was great and recommended - We arranged this tour when our cruise ship stopped here, but the cruise tours were full. Met Sandra, our tour guide (and German who lived here for the past 17 years)—she spoke English and Spanish. 12 of us got on full size bus. Drove thru Argostoli and up thru hills and over Mtn pass to Dragosi cave. This is a cave where you walk down a bunch of stairs and into a large room with some smaller passages. Pretty cool; only takes about 15 mins to walk through it. Then walked through shops and on to Melisani Lake Cave. Only about 10 mins drive. This is a cenote like cave lake - fed by fresh, clear water, that then drains out to the sea. Our 12 piles into a flat bottom boat and a guy took us around the open cave, then thru a small passage into a covered area - birds nesting and bats hanging from ceiling. Water drains out of this area and down to another small lake/pond, then on to the sea. No fish, but he said a lot of 1 meter long eels. We didn’t see any 😢. After that, back on the bus and we drove through Sami town and up the hills, where we overlooked a beautiful secluded beach (Mayli???). Lots of beaches in this area and Kefalonia is apparently a small island that is mostly a summer beach getaway for people in Greece and Europe. After pics overlooking Mediterranean and beach, we headed back down windy roads to Argostoli. Got off bus in Argostoli and walked through town, back to our ship. Overall, a good experience and very reasonable price compared to cruise tours — even though sold out.

Two caves worth a visit. - I would thoroughly recommend a visit to these caves in Kefalonia. Buying entrance tickets for both caves gives a discount. The best part was the boat trip in the Drogarati cave.

Perfect cave experience - Sandra is a perfect tour guide she handled two languages perfectly. Very good manage of time and people. The driver was very careful through very hilly roads. Not to mention the caves and scenery.

Nice experience - Went as part of a cruise tour. The first part was a 15 minute wait to walk down a steep cave entrance to some rowboats that held about 14 each. A man rowed around for about 15 minutes - which goes by too quickly. The water is crystal clear and the cave is stunning - the water is very cold. Ensure that you have your camera/phone secured before you try to get on the boat - the guide told us people drop them into the water all the time. Then we had a short drive to a cave with 165 steps - it was a bit slippery and very uneven. The cave was ok - rather small compared to other caves I'v been in, but it was interesting.

Fun and a great value - We were on a cruise and this tour was offered as a shore excursion for approximately 4 times the price. We had a great tour guide, Krisztina, who provided information between each stop and answered all our questions. She was the best tour guide we had in our week of sightseeing and appreciate the value that was provided.

Good tour worth doing. - Excellent guide and good tour only downside was length of boat ride was a little short but that is completely out of control of the company providing tour just due to huge demand for that experience.

Too much bus - Too long on the the bus, Actual time to view caves was minimal. A long day in a bus rather than enjoying the port.
