Lovely day - I wasn’t sure if a private tour would be something that we’d enjoy as we’re normally pretty adventurous on our own. However, I really wanted to avoid the hassle of hiring a car so figured a private tour was the best way to see the best bits of the island and we weren’t disappointed. Christos was our tour guide for the day and he was so friendly, knowledgeable about the history of Kefalonia and passionate about showing off as much of the island as he could possibly fit into our day. We got some fabulous photos and have lots of amazing memories thanks to Christos and his planning. My highlights were the amazing picnic with fantastic views and copious amounts of white wine at Antisamos and the beach stop at Myrtos beach. Getting swiftly picked up from each stop off when we were really hot into an air conditioned car, not having to worry about parking or reading a map, refreshments throughout the journey and having bottles of ice cold water brought to us when we were in the queue for Mesallini cave were some of the hidden benefits of a private tour which make it extra worthwhile booking. I highly recommend booking a tour and would suggest taking it near the start of your holiday so you can revisit any spots you might want to spend more time at. Kefalonia really is a beautiful island with super friendly people and I’d love to go back soon.

Amazing experience with Metaxia!! - We want to thank Thalassa tours so much for the lovely experience we had yesterday. Metaxia was so patient with us as we meandered through all of the lovely stops and learned about kefalonia and it's history. The wine tasting experience at vassilakis distillery was incredible. We felt like we were made to be a part of the family and so welcomed. What a great way to spend your time in Kefalonia. So highly recommended!!!

Fantastic trip . Best yet! - We were transferred from Argostoli to Sami on and our driver Chris told us all about the Island . On the boat ( Zaheratos Cruises) the captain and crew supplied us with snacks and soft drinks and were very attentive . The cruise was wonderful and the swim stops fantastic . We have done similar trips before with big companies through our package suppliers but this was far better and far fewer people on it making it a more personal experience .

One of the few excellent agencies - Very co.petitive agency, We were accompanied by an attendant named Christus, high grizzled, very very nice, kind and courteous in guiding us and making ourselves available fulfilling all our wishes assisting us with cold water and food, Very competitive prices compared to other agencies down in the port *Thank you for the lovely day spent*

Best Tour in Record in Time - We were lucky to find Chris from Thalassa Tours when we atreves in Cefalonia. The other agency we booked didn’t show up in the port an Chis was so nice to do the same tour in only 4hrs. We didn’t have too much time in Cefalonia, only 5hrs, but he was extremely nice and did everything he could to show us the best places in Cefalonia. Thank you Chris for such an amazing tour, we loved Fishkardo, the Caves, and the amazing views… and of course the lovely picnic!. We look forward to see you again! Ricardo (Spain)

Excellent trip - We got to see so much more of this beautiful island than we expected with our guide Dina. She was very friendly and happy to take us to the places we wanted to go to and to stay for as long as we liked at each place. Highly recommended!

Beyond AMAZING!!! Best tour ever! - This was one of the best excursions we’ve ever had on a vacation. We travel a lot and have done many excursions over the years! Chris was AMAZING! He knows the island and it’s history! He took us to many beautiful places on the island and had everything we needed to make our trip comfortable and MORE! He made sure that we got to taste the local food (almonds, honey, and his mom’s smoked sausage) and wine! He then suggested a local restaurant where we enjoyed some of the best food we’ve ever had! Don’t hesitate to book a tour with this company!! Make sure you ask for Chris!!!

Full Day Tour of Kefalonia (7 Locations) - The whole day was just brilliant 👏 and a lot of that was due to our driver - George who was very professional and knowledgeable and who gave us so much good information. George's timing to the various locations was incredible and we seemed to arrive at the locations before the big coach operators at Melissani Lake, Drogarati Cave and Fiscardo where we had lunch so, no queues it was great. There was adequate time at each location and George just knew where to go and park telling us clearly what time to depart 👍🎈😎. It was a very full day and included all or many of the islands highlights which if we'd organised solo ie hired a car o our own we WOULD NOT have seen or enjoyed so much of Kefalonia.

Overpriced taxi! - We were a group of 8 who had George taking us around the island. He could speak hardly any English so we got no benefit from him apart from being a taxi driver which is very expensive at $AUD 220 per person Do not use this group … we got picked up and taken to our hotel by Kefalonia Tours and in that transfer we learnt way more than a day with George
