Outstanding Day Out. If you get Duska as your tour guide you are in for a treat ! - It goes without saying that the island of Kefalonia is beautiful. The pickup from the bus stop just above Ammes beach was on time. The bus was clean with effective air conditioning. There were only a few more stops to collect guests before the tour got underway. 1st stop the monastery, Ladies and Gents also please be aware that you will need to cover shoulders and legs if wearing shorts above the knee. Scarves are available but it’s worth taking a light jacket for this purpose. You can take pictures of the Saints silver tomb in the old church however I chose not to in respect of those there to pray. Next stop the winery for a brief but enjoyable and informative wine tasting. Next onto the caves with Dragorati up first. Anyone with restricted mobility may be wise to skip this and I strongly recommend wearing shoes/trainers and definitely not flip flops ! The stalactites and stalagmites in the cave are quite simply breathtaking. Cave number 2 is Melissani where you will take a small boat ride on the crystal clear water, the guys manning the boats are hilarious. The next stop is Fiscardo, the old town north of the island where you can either go for a walk around the harbour, grab some lunch or simply people watch. Finally to end the trip a short photostop on the way back to take in the view of Myrtos Beach. I would strongly recommend this trip and it was excellent value for money. The driver whose name I didn’t get was very experienced and I felt safe at all times despite the challenging terrain and very narrow roads! The highlight of this trip was our guide Duska. Her knowledge of the island, Greek recipes, culture and Mythology was second to none. She was informative, friendly and delivered stories with passion. Thank you all for a great day.

Delightful trip around Kefalonia - We were a group of 4 and booked 2 days before. I would not leave it later as the trip is very popular. Although our hotel was not on the pick up list, we simply added our hotel name and we received a phone call and a message, confirming our pick up point, which was a short away. Our guide and hist, Duska, was very helpful, personable, enthusiastic and dealt with any queries. She was well organised and ensured we all had a good time. She was very knowledgeable and kept us interested as we passed different areas of the Island. Duska also hosted the wine tasting, which unsurprisingly went well! She made sure one of our party could sit down at the wine tasting, as my friend had done mobility issues. We would have liked an extra 30 mins at Fiskardo, but acknowledged that we needed to get back in time for evening meal. We got to see a lot of the Island and learnt about the significant events in the history of Kefalonia. Overall, this was an excellent trip which I would recommend to others

Wonderful tour with vine tasting - We would like to recommend to everyone a bus tour (incl. vine tasting! ;) as Cephalonia is one of the most beautiful islands in Greece and really worth to be seen even if the weather is not very stable. Thanks a lot to Georgia for her friendly advices and to Dusca for a wonderful and exciting excursion. Elisabeth and Katja from Vienna

Excellent island tour with great guide. - I can recommended kefalonian excursions. We were kept well informed by the company prior to the trip. We did the all day island tour and there was no better way to go than to be driven around the narrow mountain roads by our cautious bus driver, George. We saw a variety of sites but were not rushed. The highlight was our guide maria. Maria was extremely welcoming and friendly. And had excellent knowledge of the island’s attractions. Unlike the guide in our previous tour, (from another company), who read every word verbatim from a prepared script, maria was spontaneous and a joy to hear her speak and with such clarity. Kefalonian excursions is fortunate to have a guide with her calibre. Highly recommend

Great day out! - A great day out with Dukosa? as our guide and George as our driver. The monestary was interesting and we were fortunate enough to watch a litany of the Saint. Wine tasting was good, but it was just that, a tiny taster of each. Nevertheless the views were fab and you had an opportunity to buy the wine you sampled at a great price. Missed opportunity there though they could have a cooperative with other local producers and sell things like soap, olive oil, honey etc. The caves were amazing. A real highlight. Fiskardo was a little gem. We had a great lunch overlooking the harbour followed by local frozen yoghurt. On the way back we stopped at Myrtos beach to take some photos of the stunning view. We also had an impromptu singalong which was fun. A great, full day out and real value for money.

Brilliant day - What a brilliant day! Maria our guide was fantastic and so knowledgeable but in a really fun and interesting way. As we did not want to hire a car on our holiday this was a perfect way to experience aspects of the island we just wouldn’t have seen otherwise. We were staying in Lixouri so got the ferry over to Argostoli and got picked up by the coach just by the ferry port. The coach driver was brilliant - rather him then me driving some of those roads but at all times felt perfectly safe with him. We had the perfect time in each place and never felt rushed. Maria was so sweet taking photos of us at the Myrtos Beach view point. She also changed the order of the day as a cruise ship was in and we did the caves later in the day when there were no queues - this was greatly appreciated. All in all a brilliant day and highly recommended - great value for money too!
