Quick sampling of Kefalonia - Excellent tour Tour guide Maria did a very good job Driver Stefanus was impressive on the narrow roads Comfortable bus ride (only 24 in the group) No personal listening devices Guide provides the information (reading the text over the loud speaker on the bus) Visit a quaint old church (can descend into chamber under the floor where a monk used to live) The tastings part is at a store which sells wine, olive oil, snacks, honey They provide small free samples The 2 cave visits were very interesting The tour guide does not accompany you but provides info beforehand and provides the entrance ticket The cave with the boat was particularly impressive Its relatively small (and open at the top) but our ride was about 15 min (fyi the boat paddlers have tip jars prominently displayed) 40 min stop at little lakeside town for lunch A bit tricky in Greece to set, order, eat, pay in 40 minutes…but we did it Final stop is mountain overlook of the famous beach Amazing view Overall—not super rushed but not a listed pace either Zero crowds/lines in October Since I knew what to expect—-excellent tour

Excellent trip to do - This was such a good trip to do. We visited lots of highlights in the time in a comfortable, air conditioned coach. There were about 20 of us on the trip - all German, apart from the 2 of us (English). It was good value for money, but what made the trip an excellent day, was the guide Katrin. She spoke in German, then English in an interesting way and with humour. It's a trip that we would highly recommend, especially if you get Katrin as your guide.

Kefalonia tour - Lovely tour around parts of Kefalonia with our very informative guide. Enjoyed our boat ride on the lake in melissani cave, even serenaded by our rower. The drogarati cave was bigger than I expected, and was lovely and cool on such a hot day. The view of myrtos beach is stunning!

Kefalonia Highlights tour - We had a lovely time on this trip. Our guide Maria M was informative throughout the trip and nothing was too much trouble. At the Melissani Lake she stood in the queue for an hour for us whilst we were able to sit in the shade and look around the shop. The itinerary was good, really varied and enjoyable. If I did this again I would take swimming things as we hadn't realised that at the village stop we would be able to swim during the 40 minute stop and it was a lovely hot day. The driver was also great and we had a 35 seater air conditioned coach for just 10 of us. We had considered hiring a car but we're glad it was a coach trip as the roads are winding and narrow.

Beautiful Island - Our guide was well-prepared and organized. The tour was as presented. Our guide could develop in the area of spontaneity but was pleasant and efficient.

Exactly as described- helpful staff - Easy coach trip which allowed us to see a few things across the island in the limited time available to us with very low stress. The guide Maria M was excellent, really helpful and engaging; the coach was clean and air conditioned and the driver made the day really straight forward as they parked so you could easily pop in on the stops and be back on time. If you had longer on the island you could investigate further on your own afterwards having got a good sense of the roads and type of excursions possible. If you only have one day then it was an efficient way to see further afield with a knowledgable local guide and driver.

Aimed at cruise... - Aimed at cruise passengers. No depth to commentary. Caves excellent although not impressed with over one hour wait in torrential rain to get into the cave/lake. Running late so 50 minute lunch stop reduced to 40 minutes. - insufficient time (not everyone was heading back to food on the ship). No time to look around. Organiser threatened to leave without two people as they were 10 minutes late back. Not impressed.
