Unusual and delightful “safari” among horses, bulls, and flamingos - Wonderful half-day experience out in the wide-open grasslands of the Rhône River delta. Ranches with semi wild horses and small indigenous black bulls. Pink flamingos too. Knowledgeable and enthusiastic English-speaking local guide. This was one of our best and most memorable adventures in the south of France. Easy pickup in Arles. Well organized operation. Worth it!

Well worth the cost, a great way to get acquainted - We saw parts of the area that we surely would have missed had we gone on our own. Johannes, our guide was both knowledgeable and entertaining. “Mr. Flamingo,” as he termed himself, was an exemplary guide and made the trip a lot of fun - 5 stars!

Exciting Adventure awaits, magnificent encounter with nature - Magnificent tour! I chose the Saturday morning tour which was perfect because I enjoyed a stroll around the market at Arles before the tour started. Our tour guide was awesome! He was very kind and conducted the tour entirely in French! I am in France to improve my French so I appreciated this very much. The tour was an amazing adventure: magnificent views, close up contact with horses, a visit to an adorable fishing village and we saw flamingos. It was a great experience. Our guide was very knowledgeable about the modern version of bull fighting. I was extremely interested to learn about this. This tour was also great because we travelled to places that I could not have enjoyed otherwise. Congratulations on a offering an amazing tour and experience. Highly recommended.

Half day tour of the Camargue. - Excellent Tour! We had a beautiful day in October 2024 . Our guide was very knowledgeable. We saw the Horses, Bulls, and Flamingos plus the amazing landscape and Sea.

Enjoyed the experience - Our guide, Favio, was knowledgeable and engaging. We saw horses, bulls, pheasants and flamingos, with plenty of opportunities for photos. A word of caution: many of the roads are unpaved, and the jeep rides rough.

Very nice and interesting tour - Very nice tour! The driver tried very hard to introduce us to the beautiful landscape with its peculiarities and special features. The explanations were very informative. We drove many side routes (very nice viewpoints) with a lot of potholes.

Interesting and fun tour! - An interesting and fun tour and off road right through the Camarque! Got a lot of information about the area and the animals.

Interesting nature and cultural excursion - Interesting excursion to learn and see some of nature in the camargue. Good with small group; we only became 5 people. We learned a lot about rice farming, bull breeding, the white horses and flamingos. Also included St Marie de la mer where the bulls happened to enter with their mounted guards on their way to the arena. A moment earlier we had seen how the bulls were selected - it was a happy coincidence! Otherwise, I would have liked to get a little closer to the animals - we saw them mostly from a distance -maybe go into some farm. See how the horses are trained? Rather forgo the stop in St marie and make it a pure animal and nature excursion. The guide was knowledgeable and dedicated but seemed to have a long season behind him and seemed a bit overworked…
