Great way to visit Arlington Memorial ! - Hop-On Hop-off is the best way to visit this sacred place. It's an open- air bus type of tour though the memorial cemetery. It stops at a number of significant points and allows whatever time you want to visit each (some require a short walk). Spend the time you want and hop on one of the next buses to continue your tour.

Arlington National Cemetery Hop on Hop off tour - Excellent tour! Shuttles are frequent. Seats are comfortable and roomy. Tour guide knowledgeable, kind. Drive smooth. No sudden stops or starts.

Respectful, Beautiful and Touching. A must see and do. - A moving and very respectful place to go and you can’t appreciate the size of the cemetery without doing the hop-on Hop-off tour. It’s informative as you travel around and there are a number of places to get off if you wish. The hides on board are great and explain places as you travel. I would definitely recommend getting off to see the changing of the guards at the tomb of the unknown soldier. It is a sight to see and a beautiful, touching, respectful ceremony to have the honour to watch. I know it seems a little bit out of the way, but for the sake of walking across the Arlington memorial bridge, you should make the effort.

Make sure you get off at... - Make sure you get off at each stop. The changing of the guard happens each hour at the top of the hour, so take your time and take it all in.

Worth it - Very convenient and informative. Hit all the major stops and the 15-20 minute intervals were perfect for a quick look around in time for the next tram.

Wonderful option for people with mobility issues. - Wonderful experience! Very easy to find the trolly. Very kind and considerate staff. There was no way my mom could have walked that hill, so this was a perfect option for her. When they stop at the JFK memorial with the eternal flame, there is a bit of a walk up a hill. My mom had to stop a couple of times to catch her breath. If you have someone with limited mobility, stay on the trolly and skip this stop. The narrators on the trolly were full of interesting stories which made the drive fly by! The whole experience was splendid for us!

Good - Worth it but buy your ticket at the Welcome Center. Need to increase the number of stops as it is very limited.

the only way to get around - the hop on hop off tour allowed us to tour with a 7 and 9 year old and see the highlights including the changing of the guard at the tomb of the unknown. I asked the very helpful staff about timing and got expert advice about route and timing to make it very efficient for us. the cemetery is large and we couldn’t have done it without utilizing this tour

Arlington National... - Arlington National Cemetery is a must-see when visiting Washington, D.C. The chance to honor our nation's heroes and witness the deeply rooted traditions here is truly moving. The Changing of the Guard and Memorial Amphitheater add to the powerful experience. That said, tour guide quality can vary. While knowledgeable, some guides can be difficult to hear or lack the engaging presence that would enhance the experience. It’s definitely worth visiting but consider a self-guided tour if you'd prefer more flexibility or quiet reflection.

Beautiful day but was a slight annoyance - I wouldn’t like Daniel to get fired but I thought it was improper to make the tour with jokes. I also felt like he didn’t give much info and had a dumb announcement voice. Also the tram was extremely late picking up our group. It one person got off the tram for the last stop ( which was completely full) because we waited so long . I love Arlington but it deserves better. The rest of the staff was completely kind though.
