Discover the notable sepulchers, including the grave of President John F. Kennedy. We’ll also delve into some unexpected interments, such as the grave of renowned pugilist Joe Louis. The site also hosts monuments that honor the tragic events involving the space shuttles Columbia and Challenger.
Accompanied by a few select individuals like Audie Murphy, your knowledgeable guide will escort you to the Tomb of the Unknowns, where you might have the opportunity to observe the solemn Changing of the Guard ceremony. Traverse these sacred grounds to uncover the story of how Robert E. Lee’s residence, Arlington House, which we will visit, transformed into one of the nation’s most expansive national cemeteries.

We recommend comfortable shoes, a bottle of water, umbrella in case of rain and hat during summer. Due to increased security measures at many attractions some can’t be visited from the inside.

Aussies at Arlington. - Maureen was a very experienced , informative and entertaining tour guide. Her manner made us feel very comfortable and she guided us in a thoughtful yet well organised way. Her experience enabled us to see important sites this avoiding large groups.
We highly recommend Maureen for her knowledge and expertise in guiding at Arlington Cemetery.

Great tour of Arlington National Cemetery - Rebecca was a great guide! She has over 14 years of experience giving tours in the DC area and she had a wealth of information to share with us. Loved the history of the cemetery as well as what the future holds for the now limited space available.

Changing of the Guards is a must See! - Stephen was an amazing tour guide and had so much knowledge to share. I would recommend this tour to anyone that has a love for history and the tradition of the US. I think our favorite part was the changing of the guards.

Wonderful experience in Arlington Cemetery - Our guide Brenda is very knowledgeable and professional. Not only is she well-versed in the information and stories about Arlington National Cemetery, but she also offers excellent advice on the best spots to watch the Changing of the Guard ceremony. Moreover, she is a person worthy of respect. Throughout the tour, it was evident that she holds deep reverence for those who have sacrificed their lives for the country.

Great experience with Maureen on semi private Arlington cemetery tour - Fantastic experience with our guide Maureen. It was my first time at Arlington in ~20 years and she was extremely knowledgeable and polite.
Booking maureen for the semi private tour was very worth it and allowed us (my friend and I) to interact with her. One of my favorite tours while I was in DC, would recommend this tour to anyone who goes to Arlington and would recommend Maureen as well.

Great experience! - We had the pleasure of taking a tour of Arlington National Cemetery with Brenda as our guide, and it was an outstanding experience. Walking history Tour with a view - tributes and honor to our country and those that sacrificed to make it great. - Highly recommend The Arlington Cemetery & Changing of the Guard-Semi-private Tour. The views within the cemetery and the panoramic views of our nations capital are spectacular. Can't say enough about the changing of the Guard as it was an amazing synchronized site to experience. Maribeth, our tour guide, was very knowledgeable and kept us entertained with historical and unique facts you would not ordinarily get. I would say it was one of my favorite tours! Worth the walking!

Do not miss Arlington Cemetery when you visit DC. - Fascinated by the changing of the Guard at the Tomb Of the Unknown Soldier. Touring Arlington Cemetery on 9-11-24 gave it added significance.
