Recommended tour - We booked the DC + Arlington tour. It was a little confusing at first because we decided to part at Arlington and start the tour from there. The confusion was because you use an Arlington tour bus to transfer over to the Old Town Trolley DC hop on hop off bus. You can technically start and stop the tour at any point along the tour. I suppose it is recommended to start at Union Station. There are a lot of reviews regarding difficult to find stops. I thought they were pretty easy to find and there are signs on the lamp post. The stops on the app, the paper maps, and the list on the booking page don't all match up according to numbers. They are all there and doesn't really matter. Didn't really affect us at all, just as an FYI. Overall, really good tour, easy to use, informative, and good price. We did the entire thing riding along listening to the history and seeing the sights, then got off to do other things. It was great and do recommend!!

Great service. - A lot of fun. Wish it would have run later in the day though as felt a bit rushed to see all we wanted too. If the last shuttle would have run till 7 it would have been fantastic. As it was was worried about being stranded somewhere far from our start point which would result in extra walking distance or require hiring an Uber or something to get back to the start point or our hotel.

Awesome! - Arlington Cemetery was something to behold. I loved the Arlington House and the connection with George Washington. The curator at that site was so knowledgeable.

Great way to see DC! - Loved the downtown tour! Open windows really made photos easy to take, too. Narrators were personable and informative and I learned things I didn't know! Arlington Cemetary was very moving. Filmed the changing of the guard at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier...cool ceremony!

Not good - Didn't stop near attractions. Had to walk a long ways to any of them. Only had 15 stops not the advertised 21.

Terrible experience - We were very disappointed in our trip to Arlington Cemetary. Our first docent was Katherine or Catherine. She had an attitude that said "I wish I was anywhere but here." When she did have to speak, she spoke so fast and ran all her words together so that you couldn't understand anything she said. We were terribly disappointed because this was one place we really wanted to learn things. When they stopped to let us off at the JFK memorial, she said to be back in 15 minutes. We were all back in time and had to wait for the next shuttle. We waited so long, that we then were late for the changing of the guard. We only got to see half of that. Kathy was our last docent on our way back to the front of the gate and she was fabulous. Katherine needs to ride on her trolley and see how it should be done.
