Bring water and have the best day trip ever! - You have to go, this experience was so cool. We were a group of four people and this day trip from Istanbul was one of the highlights of our 12 day trip. The history was incredible and the fact that you can walk amongst the ruins as if you were alive in 1,000 BC is incredible. See, touch, walk, learn. Such a cool day trip. Great tour guide - after we visited a rug maker subsidized by the Turkish government, that was really cool too. You learn how Turkish rugs are made (silk, wool, and bamboo). Don't miss this tour!

Awesome tour to Ephesus - Our tour guide Cenk and our driver Hasan were great! Cenk was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions. We were the only people in our tour group so we felt like we got the royal treatment. The transport to the airport picked us up right in front of the hotel next to our Airbnb (and dropped us off). The flights were on time and smooth. Ephesus was an awesome experience! We are so happy we decided to take this tour and we would highly recommend it.

A Wonderful Day! - We loved our day trip to Ephesus from Istanbul. While a very full day — we were not rushed and our guide Isik did a wonderful job providing historical information and setting a pace that did not seem rushed despite the full day. Isik is very knowledgeable and provided outstanding commentary throughout the day. Isik was also very tuned in to our personal needs and interests which made for a very enjoyable experience. In addition to Ephesus, we visited what is believed to be the area where the Virgin Mary may have spent her last years, and Isik introduced us to rug and pottery craftsmen providing an opportunity to purchase cherished souvenirs at incredibly reasonable prices. Further, we strolled through a local marketplace and had a delicious lunch! A perfect day! Our thanks to the local travel agency and Isik!

Tour recommended - The tour was very well organized, and Gul, our tour guide, was amazing. She was knowledgeable and fun. Our only recommendation is that the tour could be organized to spend more time in the Ancient City of Ephesus, as there was enough time it.

An awesome experience - An awesome experience and worth the guided tour The ruins are so vast that the tour is necessary. It means you have a clear picture of the city and its populace by the end

Highly Recommended - A fantastic trip, I would highly recommend it and our personal guide Genghis. The hilight of the trip to me was the countryside, the small village of Sirens and naturally walkimg through the remains of Ephesus. We learned so much from our guide not only about the trip, sites but also Turkey in general. It was a long day but a very rewarding one. I would recommend it, communication on the trip itself was through Whats App. Lunch was great!

Disappointing experience - We expected the tour to include Mary’s house, Ephesus, lunch and the mountain village. We did NOT expect lunch to be at a co-op where we had to sit through a ‘demonstration’ of how rugs were woven, tea, and a sales pitch. Then we were driven to the mountain village which was nothing but a tourist trap: shops with the same stuff and ‘wine tasting’ rooms. Can’t imagine a couple glasses then having to walk the uneven, steep, streets. We were only interested in Ephesus but were rushed and the guide knew nothing of the Christian church there. She majored in being a tour guide so the university must not teach on it. I would not recommend the tour, it wasted more than half a day doing things we didn’t want to do. I loved Ephesus and would have loved more time there with a guide who majored in history vs tourism.
