Istanbul Cappadocia
Hippodrome - Our first stop is the Hippodrome, a historic site that was once the center of sports in Constantinople. This famous location is known for its four significant monuments: The German Fountain of Wilhelm II, the Egyptian Obelisk, the Serpentine Column, and the Column of Constantine. Each monument reflects the rich history and culture of the ancient city.
Hagia Sophia Mosque - Hagia Sophia is Turkey’s most famous museum and an architectural marvel. Originally built as a grand church in the 6th century by Emperor Justinian, it was converted into a mosque in 1453 by Ottoman Emperor Fatih Sultan Mehmet. In 1935, it was transformed into a museum, welcoming visitors from around the world to admire its historical, cultural, and architectural significance.
Blue Mosque - Also known as the Sultanahmet Mosque, the Blue Mosque is a stunning example of Ottoman architecture and one of Turkey’s most beautiful mosques. It is unique for its six minarets, a rare feature in mosque design. Please note that the Blue Mosque is closed to visitors on Fridays.
Topkapi Palace - Topkapi Palace, the former residence of the Ottoman sultans, served multiple roles, including as a center for education, administration, and the arts. Visitors can explore its rich history, including sacred Islamic relics, the palace kitchens, and a collection of weapons. The palace is closed to visitors on Tuesdays.
Grand Bazaar - The Grand Bazaar is Istanbul’s largest and most vibrant marketplace, offering a wide range of goods from carpets and leather to jewelry, Turkish delight, gold, and antique tiles. The Grand Bazaar is closed on Sundays.
Istanbul Airport - After the tour, we will transfer you to Istanbul Airport for an evening flight to Cappadocia.
Kayseri - Upon arrival at Kayseri Airport, we will transfer you to your hotel in Cappadocia for an overnight stay.
Cappadocia Kusadasi
Cavusin Village - Our first stop is Cavusin Village in the Rose Valley, known for its Fairy Chimneys that resemble mushrooms.
Goreme Open-Air Museum - Next, we visit the Goreme Open-Air Museum, a UNESCO World Heritage site featuring five Byzantine Orthodox churches that showcase the region’s historical and artistic heritage.
Kaymakli Underground City - Kaymakli Underground City is an ancient subterranean complex in Cappadocia, Turkey. Carved into volcanic rock, it served as a refuge for early Christians and features tunnels, chambers, storage rooms, and a ventilation system.
Pigeon Valley - Pigeon Valley in Cappadocia is famous for its unique landscape and pigeonhouses carved into the rock formations. These pigeonholes were used for housing pigeons, whose droppings were valuable as fertilizer.
Kayseri - After the tour, we will transfer you to Kayseri Airport for an evening flight to Izmir.
Pamukkale
Pamukkale Thermal Pools - After breakfast, we head to Pamukkale, known as the “Cotton Castle” for its white, cotton-like mineral bath spas. These calcium-rich thermal springs have been sought after since Roman times for their therapeutic properties. Hierapolis, a UNESCO World Heritage site, features ruins including a necropolis with sarcophagi of notable figures like Marcus Aurelius. After the tour, we return to Kusadasi.
Ephesus Istanbul
Ancient City of Ephesus - Ephesus was the second-largest city of the Roman Empire, with over 250,000 residents in the 1st century BC. Highlights include the Library of Celsius and the monumental theater.
The Temple of Artemis - The Temple of Artemis, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, offers a glimpse into ancient rituals and architecture, even though the temple itself no longer stands.
Meryemana (The Virgin Mary’s House) - We visit the House of Virgin Mary, believed to be where Mary, the mother of Jesus, spent her final years. The site offers a peaceful setting for reflection.
Izmir Province - After the tour, we will transfer you to Izmir Airport for an evening flight to Istanbul.
Istanbul - end of tour
Istanbul - Enjoy a free day until your international flight. We will transfer you to the airport based on your flight schedule, concluding our services.
