Perfect and smooth trip - Very well organised all the way through 8days of our travelling. From transport, tours, hotel, flights all perfectly done. I cant imagine if i need to do all by myself. Some suggestions, i’d prefer to have accommodation in Capadoccia, in goreme instead of urgup. The rest is perfect. Thank u for making mother-daughter trip memorable.

A lot of Turkiye in a short time. - We loved the tour with Altikum Travel. No worries about transportation and small groups. Most days it was just my wife and me on the tour. Two days one other and two days with 6 others. Daily tour guides were mostly excellent. Safe drivers took us to places and activities in Istanbul, Ephesus, Hieropolis, and Cappadocia. Hot air ballooning, Bosphorus Strait tour, and markets. Hotels were very comfortable, with our favorite being in a cave in Cappadocia. Amazing trip and super affordable. Be aware that entry fees to each of the historic sites is separate from the tour and worth it. New US $100 bills are accepted everywhere, $50 bills are not because of counterfeiting issues. We felt comfortable and safe in every location.

Great Experience on First Multi-Day Tour - So glad we did this tour. It was our first time doing a multi-day tour like this. I usually like to plan my own activities, but this itinerary caught my eye. We saw so much in 8 days, and still had down time in the evenings to do our own thing. Mert was a fantastic guide. He adapted to the needs of each person in our group while keeping us on schedule. Communication from the tour company was top notch and everything went smoothly. Not having to worry about travel logistics allowed us to relax and focus on enjoying the sites. All of the hotels were great and had amazing breakfasts. A couple of the lunches were a little lackluster, but we never went hungry. Mert helped our group navigate a variety of dietary preferences and allergies. We did have time to swim in Pamukkale, so pack a swimsuit! We added an extra day in Istanbul at the end of the trip, which I would recommend to anyone who has the time.

Key highlights of Türkiye - Overall the tour is amazing. Turkey is a bit on the expensive side but it's worth it. Baskin was our tour guide for the first day in Istanbul and he was just amazing 5+ stars, gave us lots of information on the guided tour. The guide on the Bosphorus ferry also have us a lot of information about the buildings on the coasts. The trips to Pamukale was good, it is beautiful, but the guide could have shared some more information about the history and place, there was not much talking done by the guide to show us around. Also the trip could be organised a bit better. We spent about an hour both ways at a small place for tea/coffee which was not required to be so long which took up 2 hours of the tour, and we had only 2 hours for ourselfs at pamukale and Hierapolis, which is not enough to cover the whole place, instead of stopping so long for coffee we could have one more hour at Pamukale. Cappadocia was another beautiful place, just amazing. Had a nice guide there for both the days and shared a lot of information. All the drivers were really amazing and drove us safely everywhere. The vehicles were comfortable as well. Hotels were good and the the ones at Izmir and Cappadocia were just amazing.

We love our trip! - We love our Turkey experience! The entire trip was well organized. As soon as it was booked, the tour operator TOUR ALTINKUM TRAVEL reached out to us for the details of our flights and, in a few days, we were sent our itinerary. From the airport pickups and hotel drop-offs, and booked flights to the different cities, everything was on time. There was even one time when the operator of the airport pickup did a video call to make sure that we were with the right driver. It made us feel very safe. We were very satisfied with the choice of hotels, especially the Efe Boutique Hotel in Kusadasi. The hotels were surrounded by places to eat and stores to visit by simply walking around the area. The tours were on time the tour guides were all very nice and very knowledgeable about the places that we visited. The restaurants where we had lunch (included in the package) were all good and the food was great! We would love to go back to Turkey, with great people, amazing food and wonderful places to visit. We highly recommend this tour.

Great tour in Turkey - Tour Altinkum was very well organized. All our pick ups and transfers worked seamlessly. Communication was excellent both with the booking and then while on tour via What’s App. Tour guides and drivers were all great. Accommodation, breakfasts and locations were well chosen. We would definitely recommend this tour with Tour Altinkum.

The beauty and richness of Türkiye - One of the best tour experiences we had. The staff were excellent: friendly, responsive and kind. Special shout out to our guide in Cappadocia, Umit Arslan who was an absolute star.

Not entirely satisfied as some places on the itinerary were left out - My husband and I joined the tour from 6-15 October 2024. We appreciate the coordination of the trip getting us from place to place, and are well satisfied by the accommodation choices. Breakfast at each of the hotels were splendid, (except at Efe boutique breakfast was more on the basic side - compared to the other hotels). The driver for the 5 days (Cappadocia, Antalya, Kusadasi) drove well and safely, covering long distances on some of the days. We are however puzzled how the tour itinerary could change without consulting us. For example, the itinerary listed Mevlana museum and Kursunlu waterfall but we did not get to visit it, and there was no explanation why. Instead of a full day of activity for day 7, we were taken to Duden waterfall (just a short drive from our hotel), lunch and that was all. I asked our guide Ali "What about Kursunlu?", to which he just shrugged it off, saying something like "It's just another waterfall". We are disappointed we did not get to see it. Looking at the maps now and on hindsight, Kursunlu isn't that far away from our hotel and I don't see why they couldn't bring us there especially since we had so much time that day - we were given so much time to stroll by Duden waterfall and we were brought to sit on a 1h leisure boat ride along the coast which wasn't part of the itinerary, when I'd much rather go for Kursunlu waterfall. As for Perge, our guide seemed to be dissuading us to visit Perge for the following reasons: - Perge is far from our hotel (29mins/25km) - Ephasus is more or less quite similar to perge - we would face bad traffic on the way back to our hotel. I was keen to visit but he suggested us to not go, and no one else seemed to object hence I didn't want to rock the boat. I wanted to do some research to decide but we weren't given much time to decide. Looking at photos and reviews, I do wish that we had gone to Perge. Our time at Ephasus (2h) and Hierapolis (pummakale, just over 2h) was too hurried. And it seemed like our guide couldn't wait to be done with the tour. As for the other 2 guides: We enjoyed having Barish as our guide for our first day around the city of Istanbul. He's very knowledgeable and gave a lot of information of the various attractions/sites we visited. I'm glad I decided to opt out of the Topkapi palace tour, as I suspected it would be too rushed to spend just 1.5h or so in that big place to really appreciate everyhing. 2nd tour guide Ana was sweet but we were left by ourselves a period of 20mins or so during the bosphorus cruise as she fell asleep while taking a smoke break. In essence, I would recommend this tour if it's a last min trip, and if one didn't have time to organise his/her own day tours and itinerary.
