Dani - Hello my friends!!!! The best day. - Dani was our tour guide and immediately treated us as friends. Our day was very informative- he gave us a historical overview of the country and tied it in well to the current state of the country. The bridge was amazing- thrilling!! The river walk was stunning and not difficult at all. Lunch in the village was delicious - beyond words yummy. Dani invited us to nap as he safely drove us to Aveira, which turned out to be a whole new adventure of beach town and fishing village. Great day with a great guide!

Highly recommend - Our tour guide for this activity was Dani. He was truly amazing and informative. Along the car rides to the different destinations, Dani provided detailed information about each place. The suspension bridge was scary at first but I’m glad I did it. The Arouca city had one of the best food on my trip in Portugal. I would recommend wearing comfortable clothing and footwear; there’s lots of walking to do. This activity was worth the price I paid!

Enriching and beautiful - Day full of discoveries and rewarding. We had a great time with our group and our guide, Joel, passionate about the culture and history of his country. Small hike of one hour, perfect for beginners or people not really sporty with beautiful landscapes. With the discovery of "little Venice of Porto" and the boat ride which was very pleasant. We recommend this activity to anyone who wants to get out of the city and learn more about this beautiful country and their friendly citizens.

Aveiro, Paiva Walkways and Suspension Bridge-Well worth the trip! - It was our first time to the area and we hoped to see some of the natural beauty outside of Porto. We loved the day, and our guide, Tomas, was excellent! He skillfully navigated the windy roads and shared interesting history. We loved the suspension bridge, Paiva walkways, Aveiro and lunch. The boat trip was fun, but could have been left off, as the day was a full 8:00 am to 6:00 pm. Gorgeous countryside and well worth the time and fees. We also enjoyed our group!

Be ready for a vigorous workout! Not for anyone without physical stamina. - Our guide was wonderful. The suspension bridge is amazing. Aveiro was charming but time was limited. But the Paiva walkway portion of this trip was not described accurately by Viator. The walkways pictured are closed due to fires earlier this year, and we were told those are uphill. We were dropped off by our guide at a camping site along the river and we had to make a 3.7 mile challenging nature hike, sometimes in slippery mud (not wood walkways), with the final trek up a very steep pebble roadway. This is not for anyone with any type of physical limitation or not in great shape. This followed an earlier short hike down a dirt path to the 50 story high suspension bridge, and 1700 steps each way across the bridge with steep inclines to both platforms. While it was a unique experience, it should be better described.
