Aveiro, Paiva Walkways and Suspension Bridge-Well worth the trip! - It was our first time to the area and we hoped to see some of the natural beauty outside of Porto. We loved the day, and our guide, Tomas, was excellent! He skillfully navigated the windy roads and shared interesting history. We loved the suspension bridge, Paiva walkways, Aveiro and lunch. The boat trip was fun, but could have been left off, as the day was a full 8:00 am to 6:00 pm. Gorgeous countryside and well worth the time and fees. We also enjoyed our group!

Enjoy the scenery of the valley from a great height & then walk along the river bed on a defined path - The walk across the suspension bridge was amazing! The height was awesome Very safe. As bushfires had damaged some of the Paiva walkways we were only able to walk 4kms along the path. It was well defined much of it a concrete path. It wandered along the river. It was very peaceful Lunch was included & was delicious! It was a great day & Tomas was excellent & entertaining. Thank you.

Fantastic day trip! - We had such a wonderful day on our tour! The suspension bridge was an engineering marvel & the walkways was a great way to stretch our legs before sitting down to the most amazing traditional Portuguese lunch at a local restaurant in Arouca. It had already felt like a full day, but it didn’t stop there! We also got to experience a brief stop in the coastal town of Costa Nova & a boat ride in Aveiro. Mauro was a fantastic guide - he was an encyclopedia of knowledge about the area in addition to keeping us laughing & smiling all day. We truly appreciated having a small group of 7, which made the trip feel much more personal. Would 100% book with Enne Tours again!

Dani did a great job on... - Dani did a great job on his first day as a guide. He was always checking everybody was comfortable and enjoying themselves and imparted knowledge with great English. It was a long day and our preference would probably have been to return to Porto having walked the suspension bridge, walked the Paiva Walkways and had lunch. However, it was still nice to have visited Costa Nova and Aveiro despite not having a great deal of time to explore the area.

Great nature day with a fun time in Aveiro. - Aveiro was the best part of the trip. The suspension bridge was cool to walk across, the weather was great! The views walking around the river on the walkway were pretty and the sound of the water was peaceful. Costa Nove was pretty but only had 15 minutes to see it. I really enjoyed Aveiro, the salt history was great and unexpected.

A great day trip with amazing guide, kept to schedule! - Mauro our guide was fantastic, he got to know all seven of us and had great knowledge to share with us. Suspension bridge was fun, despite my fear of heights and really enjoyed the 4 kilometre nature walk which meandered beside the river and rapids. Lunch, the highlight of the day, too much to finish, delicious veal and veg, sweet cakes to finish, in a cosy restaurant that felt like a home cooked meal. Costa Nova was a pretty little village. Could have skipped the boat ride at the end, it’s got traffic beside the waterway so not great views and not that interesting. All in all, a good day trip. Thanks to trainee Danny who was also very kind and helpful on the day.

Be ready for a vigorous workout! Not for anyone without physical stamina. - Our guide was wonderful. The suspension bridge is amazing. Aveiro was charming but time was limited. But the Paiva walkway portion of this trip was not described accurately by Viator. The walkways pictured are closed due to fires earlier this year, and we were told those are uphill. We were dropped off by our guide at a camping site along the river and we had to make a 3.7 mile challenging nature hike, sometimes in slippery mud (not wood walkways), with the final trek up a very steep pebble roadway. This is not for anyone with any type of physical limitation or not in great shape. This followed an earlier short hike down a dirt path to the 50 story high suspension bridge, and 1700 steps each way across the bridge with steep inclines to both platforms. While it was a unique experience, it should be better described.
