Highly recommend - Everything was great! Diogo was a perfect guide, sharing interesting information and answering all my questions. Additionally, Detours was very responsive and handled all issues in the best way possible. I also want to note that, while the lunch description only mentioned meat, there were various options available, including vegetarian and pescatarian choices.

Lovely walk in the air and along the river - This was such a fun tour. Our guide Ana was incredibly friendly and so well informed about our destinations. She answered all our questions and made everything so enjoyable. The Arouca suspension bridge is an experience not to be missed. The guides were very alert and safety conscious while giving everyone lots of time to take pictures and ask questions Lunch was at a fantastic restaurant where we got to sample authentic Portuguese fare. Everything smelled and tasted so good! Unfortunately wildfires in the area last month affected the Paiva walkway so we were only able to do half the distance. We were still able to enjoy a nice walk along the river without feeling rushed

Beauty of Nature - I and my two sons spent a wonderful trip with our driver and Guide Petito. Beautiful views, nice Insider Stories and on the next day we went white water rafting and had a great amount of fun with the same Company Detours and the same wonderful guide! Thank you!!

Eat, walk, eat repeat. A fun day out to meet people from other countries and to take in lovely views. - We were on the trip with people from Spain, Italy and Mozambique (eight of us in total) so our tour guide had her work cut out acting as a translator for us all but managed this magnificently and certainly added to the fun day. We started the trip in a small cafe tasting local sweets which gave us time to get to know each other We were all left together to walk the suspension bridge and back before starting the 5km walk. We met our tour guide again at the halfway point for a drink and rest, before finishing the walk. We then had a traditional meal at a small local restaurant, afterwards we were given the option to climb 500 steps, not for the faint hearted in 32 degree heat and once you start there is no turning back, however you are only here once so go for it. The day was well worth the money and we would definitely recommend this for something different to do.

Great experiance with amazing tour guide - The trip itself is nice, the bridge was OK, the walk after the bridge was a nice one. But the best part of all of it was our guide - Rui. He is so nice, friendly, helpful and easygoing person! We couldn't be bored or stressed during the whole trip. The meal after walking was nice but be prepared for a lot of eating :D make some extra space in your stomach;) Rui - obrigado one more time!

Nice walk - The walk along the suspension bridge is fine, the shame is that you can not link it with the walkways of the Paiva because due to fires it can not be done. The guide told us that he calculates that by February/March 2025 the bridge and the walkway can be linked. Now you have to take the car 15 minutes or so and you can make halfway more or less of said walkway. Also very nice the walkway

The ONLY value of this tour is the transportation - The ONLY value of this tour is the transportation to and from the Arouca Suspension Bridge area and back. The tour guide did not add any value.
