  This tour begins at Areinho River Beach, close to the entrance of the Paiva Walkways, where participants will meet their Activity Guide. Following a brief overview of the activity, all necessary equipment will be provided, and the group will head to the river near Paradinha, a charming riverside schist village, in a 4x4 vehicle. Upon reaching the river, a short but crucial safety briefing will be conducted before embarking on the thrilling rapids of the Paiva River! Throughout the journey, there will be opportunities to relax, challenge oneself, and enjoy fun moments with fellow tour participants.

After completing the activity, the tour continues to Espiunca, a picturesque riverside village with a stunning river beach. Here, participants can enjoy a refreshing drink and a snack at a Panoramic Riverside Terrace Bar. For those who book the tour with lunch included, a Board of Typical Portuguese Charcuterie and Cheese (or just Cheese, if preferred) and a drink of choice (including wine) will be served. Guests can then choose between an Arouquesa Steak Sandwich, Arouquesa Beef Hamburger, Veggie Burger, or Tuna Sandwich, all served with crispy French fries.

River Tubing will challenge you to discover the Paiva River in an unusual way. River Tubing is a summer flow river descent, with the use of a inflatable tube that will serve as a floating “lounge chair”. This unpredictable vessel, will make the small rapids all the more fun! In between these rapids, full of adrenaline and fun, you will have time to relax amidst the nature around you! Along the activity there will be oportunities to challenge yourself with some jumps into the water!

The Paiva River
