Atlas Mountains trekking in Morocco 2day hikking in mount toubkal - The tour was great. Hassan was very responsive to questions I had and was able to put my mind at ease. I was a little apprehensive after dealing with some other tour companies, but here they were nothing but professional. The trek itself was amazing. My guide was great, ensuring that I was comfortable and took as many breaks as I needed. There were so many amazing views to see along the way, with the moonlight hike up to the summit being the main event. The food was great, freshly made and good quality. I ate authentic cuisine and enjoyed fresh fruit to top it all off. Overall I strongly recommend this trip, through this company. I would happily use them again in the future.I recommend this trip to anyone who loves to explore nature and discover new cultures. Our guide Abdu told us a lot about life in the high Atlas Mountains and the meals we were served on route was delicious.Highly recommend this tour! We had a lovely days. We loved the longish walk in the valley to several villages with tea stops and a waterful. Fabulous scenery. At the last village we had a 4 course lunch at a Berber House

Amazing trekking in Morocco best tour to mount toubkal - Just generally a great trip. Well organised, well lead and not a single hassle. Even when the weather didn't play its part there wasn't a hassle. The Anti-Atlas is a great place for escaping the world, marvelling at the surroundings and enjoying the company of like-minded people. What was the most inspirational moment of your trip? Not sure there was a particularly "inspirational" moment but a lot of shared laughs and many memories to keep you laughing. What did you think of your group leader?Awesome! Abdullah, great guy who was very knowledgable and knew the location very well. When the weather didn't allow us to follow the days planned route he came up with a solution very quickly that was almost better than the original. His team worked well with him and kept us comfortable and VERY well fed.Do you have any advice for potential travellers?A great escape from the dreary of European winter. Go prepared for all weather from very cold to warm sunshine. It is definitely a walkers holiday so be aware of the grading and your fitness level. Nothing extremely tough, just right for an active holiday.Don't forget a lighter! Is there anything else you would like to add?The changes to the itinerary and the way in which the holiday is run are fantastic with the use of mules making it a real escape from reality. The locals are incredibly hospitable and it is nice to see them proud of their heritage and culture.

Mount Toubkal Summit- Hassan and a Puerto Rican - My two day trek to the summit of Mount Toubkal with guide Hassan was one of the most memorable experiences of my life. Mustapha was a very good facilitator for the tour company. I purchased a group package, but there were no others, so Hassan and I went off on our own. We went at a pretty fast pace, and the 1st day accent was pretty tough, yet the views were amazing. From Imlil, we made it up to the refuge in just over 5 hours including our stop for lunch. The refuge was very hospitable and their chicken and potato meal was one of the best I had on my 3 week trip to Europe and Morocco. We woke up at 4 am, had a nice breakfast and took off around 4:45 towards the summit. It was nice to have spent 10-11 hours at the refuge, which helped me acclimate to the altitude 3,200 m (11,000 ft) which made the final 900m (3,000 ft) a little more comfortable. First light broke as we were just 10 minutes from the summit, but we were able to reach the top prior to the sunrise. Watching the sunrise at 4,167 m (14,209 ft) in the midst of the Atlas Mountains was one of the most beautiful events I’ve ever witnessed. We hung out at the summit for about 30 mins, prior to heading back down towards the refuge. Because of the amount of loose rocks, the steep part of the descent was perhaps, more difficult than the ascent. I landed on my backside a few times, but it was all worth it. This was not something that I had pictured myself ever achieving. That second day was tough, including the morning ascent, we put in nearly 13 miles (20 kilometers). All in all I recommend this tour and experience to all those in fairly good health, who are looking for beauty amongst a challenging situation. The Berber people of this region are amazing and I thank them for their hospitality. Recently I became aware that the area suffered some pretty bad flooding. I encourage people to donate and to not shy away from the treks and tours which help keep the local economy afloat. Thank you Hassan and Mustapha!

The most incredible couple of days - I was a little anticipative heading out on my own, but I felt so comfortable for the off with a great taxi journey and some delicious tea right off the bat! We went at exactly the right pace which I was comfortable with and I had the best meal; it was exactly what I needed and I was properly fueled. I learnt loads about where I was, and I was completely taken aback by the scenery. We settled in at the refuge and met some great people. The next morning we got up bright and early and walked hard to get to the top. He constantly checked to see if the altitude was too bad and he set a great pace. He was willing to challenge me and we got to the top at exactly the right time. It was stunning! I can't recommend this enough. The way down was filled with sadness but yet again I had a good meal and some great conversation. All in all this was the best couple of days. I had everything provided and taken care of, and I felt welcome and looked after.

Toubkal hiking atlas mounain imlil Valley 2day - A snowy challenge in the company of a good group and excellent guides. Fantastic holiday achievable in a week. What was the most inspirational moment of your trip?Looking down a steep snowy slope which we'd just climbed on crampons (my first time). The summit of Mt Toubkal. What did you think of your group leader?Helpful, encouraging, felt very safe. Changed the schedule so that we did Mount Toubkal on the first day - a good call as a storm came in on the evening of the 2nd day and though we walked that day, the ridge to the 2nd peak was too windy for us to get to the summit.Do you have any advice for potential travellers?Refuge is quite basic but is fine and a good location at the head of the valley. I had down booties which were great in the refuge to keep feet warm, especially when getting up for the loo in the middle of the night. If noise affects you take ear plugs for sleeping at night in the dorm. One of the accommodation had a very smoky lounge (from the stove which provided the only warmth in the room). If you have asthma I'd check with Exodus what the current situation is, as it might cause you problems. Is there anything else you would like to add?It is a good trip if you want to try out walking on snow. I found it quite challenging - hauling myself out of snow when I broke the crust/soft snow and contouring round a steep slope. However, the guides were there to help and as walks are based from the refuge it is possible to return early.
