Highlights
  • Hacienda La ReKompensa - Here at La Rekompensa, delve into a comprehensive tour of the Banana Museum. This visit isn’t just about observing; it’s an interactive delight, offering tastings and insights into the cultivation and significance of bananas to the island’s agriculture and culture. The museum not only displays the fruits but tells their story, from flower to harvest.
  • Galdar - In the heart of Gáldar, you’ll feel the island’s history envelop you. As the ancient capital, it’s a place where pilgrims on the Camino de Santiago find solace and inspiration at the cathedral—a beacon of faith and heritage. This town is a living chronicle, echoing the traditions that are the soul of Gran Canaria.
  • El Agujero - El Agujero offers two dining options: “Restaurante La Caldosa,” renowned for its seafood cuisine, and “Bar Tu Mismo,” a small eatery serving sandwiches and bocadillos. The meal is not included.
Alternatively, you can bring your own food and enjoy a meal by the natural rock pools, taking in the stunning ocean views.
  • El Agujero - Submerge yourself in the contrasting forces of El Agujero, where the dramatic North Sea meets tranquil natural rock pools. Explore the underwater biodiversity of Gran Canaria through a snorkelling trial. After your aquatic adventure, the natural rock pools offer a peaceful retreat by the melodic tide.
If tides or weather conditions do not permit the snorkelling activity, we will instead visit the charming coastal village of Sardina.
  • Faro de Sardina - The day’s journey culminates at Faro de Sardina. As the sun sets, the silhouettes of the ‘dragon tail’ mountains and Teide stand majestic against the twilight sky, a sight that captures the essence of the island’s dramatic beauty.

Wonderful Gran Canarian experience - A wonderful Gran Canarian experience. Due to the adverse weather my original adventure got cancelled, but the Climbo team was stellar and their communication was outstanding (shoutout to Ana). Throughout the entire journey were in the capable hands of Victor who is a a fun guide ready to share interesting tidbits with group. Always accommodating and attentive to the needs of everybody in the group. While we didn't get to see the sunset, because of the Sahara sand, Victor showed us around the natural pools in the area. If you are ever in Gran Canaria, feel free to contact the very capable Climbo team.

Perfect in every way ❤️ - A really wonderful trip. And Victor was a great guide. The excursion was crowned by a pool of sea water where we saw an octopus and felt the power of the waves. The banana museum was worth a visit. I would learn there that what else can be done about it other than eating e.g. fat and wine. Nice travel company.

FIVE STAR TOUR! - Beautiful experience discovering the north of the island of Gran Canaria accompanied by Victor, who was friendly, passionate and very kind. He explained so many things and showed us wonderful places known only to locals and off the traditional tourist routes. Great ad personam attention, small groups and a carefully planned tour with lots of stops of the right length. Great lunch in an incredible restaurant overlooking the sea (you're practically almost inside the ocean!). I super recommend it! Well done Climbo guys!

North Coast Tour - Victor was awesome. - This was a great tour, highly recommend to see a different part of the island. We were staying on the south coast and was picked up at our hotel with no issues. Victor was our guide for the day and was very knowledgeable about history of the island. The weather was not great the day we went out so he had to make some changes on the fly but did not disappoint. Visited the salt farms, banana farm and many spots along the North coast for beautiful pictures.

Beautiful experience, interesting and evocative. - A nice experience, an overall peaceful day, discovering, after seeing the "La Recompenza" company - Museo del Platano - various natural pools on the north coast of Gran Canaria, with stops to take photos. Agaete is beautiful as a stop and even more so, the grand finale: sunset at the Punta di Sardina lighthouse. Spectacular. Excellent guide Victor, never bored!

The north coast tour - A wonderful experience full of variatons and fun excursions. One small thing that was dissapointing is that the lunch is not included. Apart from that had fun and learned a lot about Gran Canaria. Victor is a great guy and guide! Thank you

A great inspiration for further day trips - A great inspiration for further trips, with a friendly and knowledgeable guide. Started the day with a tour of the banana museum, followed by a brief trip through Gáldar, enjoyed lunch with an ocean view at La Caldosa, toured a number of rock pools (perhaps a few too many), enjoyed some time at Sardina and Puerto de las Nieves, before ending the day with a view of the sunset at Punta Sardina. Take the trip early in your holiday, because you're bound to want to return to some of spots with a bit more time to explore.
